Osteria Nonna Dora In Palermo

We have been to this trattoria twice for dinner, everything is good, perfectly cooked and excellent value for money. Even the fish dishes are reasonably priced. Keep in mind that the portions are very generous, especially for the first courses. You need to book otherwise you won't find a place.

The food is great!!! NOT a tourist trap!!!!!! Abundant and quality dishes! Friendly staff, excellent service, super prices! Highly recommended!!!! Better to book in advance. Keep going like this because you can only make money!!

Beautiful place, friendly staff and an incredible brontese!!! Perhaps portions a little exaggerated that given the goodness of the dishes it is sad to leave on the plate. Also the caponata very good!

Generous portions, but mediocre dishes. It was very hot inside the restaurant because the air conditioning was off (they say it's broken), they didn't try to find alternative solutions despite the climate in Palermo.

We just had lunch at the restaurant. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a seat. It's popular, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you really want to go. The two of us shared an appetizer, which was really delicious. The main course came quickly. We couldn't believe our eyes. The portions were huge. Neither my companion nor I could even eat half. The food was good, nothing to complain about. The price/performance ratio is excellent, and it was certainly one of the cheapest restaurants, but the portion sizes were really not great (the plates were pizza plates). When paying, we pointed out that tourists could be warned about the huge portions, but the waitress just laughed. All in all, the food was good, but not exceptional or good value for money, but we have a bad taste in our mouths due to the food waste. That really wouldn't be necessary; they could have pointed this out beforehand.

Dirò subito che il locale è splendido, arredato con cura e il personale è super gentile e preparato. Sono stata con la famiglia e amici ed abbiamo mangiato divinamente, non c’è stata una cosa che non mi sia piaciuta. Devo dire però che la quantità di pasta per porzione (250 gr) è davvero eccessiva, specialmente se si è già mangiato l’antipasto. È un’ottima qualità quella di fare dei bei piatti anche a costi onestissimi, ma è un peccato rischiare di generare spreco. Un etto di pasta in meno e viene un piatto più che onesto. Ad ogni modo consigliatissimo, ci tornerei e prenderei mezze porzioni.

Uno dei ristoranti migliori della Sicilia dove mangiare cibo tradizionale. Porzioni molto abbondanti, piatti presentati bene e ottima qualità. Prenotare molto tempo prima!
