I have been to Osteria Naviglio Grande at least 20 times in less than a year, always with the à la carte menu. After trying and retrying an endless series of dishes, and having brought and made friends and relatives fall in love, I can confirm that it is certainly one of the best restaurants in Milan, without a doubt one of my favorites. Rich, high quality dishes, more than generous, where nothing is left to chance. The service is very friendly, at times informal, perfect for feeling good and pampered while eating well, so well, one dish better than the other.

Il ristorante si trova in una parte un po’ isolata dei Navigli. Il locale è caldo ed accogliente, il servizio informale ed efficiente. Tutti i piatti che abbiamo provato sono risultati eccellenti. Una particolare menzione merita il tagliere dei salumi, diverso dai soliti taglieri… petto d’anatrq affumicato, mortadella e salame di cinghiale e bresaola equina. Buonissima la pasta alici e aglio nero, spettacolare il risotto ai funghi. Deliziosi infine i dolci fatti in casa, specialmente la millefoglie con crema chantilly. Appena torno a Milano di sicuro andrò a provare gli altri piatti. Complimenti e continuate così.

Interesting dishes of excellent quality without forgetting quantity. If you have leftovers, no problem because the owner prepares a small package for you to take home.
