Our trip to Venice was to experience food and culture in the Venetian city Osteria iMocenigo is located in a quieter area north of San Marco. This restaurant is perfect to get some meals to truly experience something unique. Black spaghetti in busara sauce and cuttlefish in black sauce were rich and full of flavour. Our server was a young lady who convince us to try the black sauce (squid ink) and we were so happy she did. The service we received and the atmosphere were something we will remember as this was the last day of our trip. 5+

I love this place. Best bolognese in Italy. Best house wine in Venice, and extremely fair prices. The owners are always there, and the staff is utterly tremendous. Food comes out so fast and hot. Five stars!

The Osteria came recommended by our AirBnB host. The food was good but nothing special although the fish (sole) was not super fresh which we had hoped for being in Venice. Service was impersonal. Too busy for the one person who was serving everyone. The house wine by the glass was… yeah, sorry to say, bad.

Good food and location but average service. We were sat outside so it did feel like there was little attention taken to us and I was given a card machine to pay despite asking to pay in cash in Italian and English. Unfortunately we were also charged for bread that we were never served. It does get busy fairly early so bear that in mind. That being said, we enjoyed our food, wine and the location on a quiet street so if you're not overly fussed about service like ourselves then go ahead.

Fantastic place! The food was great with a very reasonable prices. Stuff was friendly and the atmoshere was full of Italian charm. The place to remember!

In un menu un po’ turistico si riescono a trovare piatti tipici veneziani: bigoli in salsa, seppie in nero e molti altri. Servizio da trattoria, ma sempre gentile e pronto. Carta dei vino adeguata, con poche cose e senza grandi bottiglie. Il proprietario si muove come un direttore d’orchestra. Prezzi non eccesivi

04/05/2025: Un buon posto dove assaggiare cucina tipica: antipasto in saor e fegato alla veneziana ottimi; la tagliata di manzo buona. È possibile mangiare fuori lungo il canale, ma ha anche una sala interna. Il valore aggiunto sono sicuramente i camerieri: attenti, professionali, super gentili e cordiali, ma mai invadenti.
