Really lovely place, with a varied and intriguing menu. Dishes of excellent workmanship, and also reasonable portions. Attentive and kind service.

Exceptional. Found by pure chance, we ate very well. Small but cared for in the smallest details, the staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent for vegans. Even if we are a bit far away, we will return!!

Restaurant that fully meets my expectations, excellent food served in different, fun and colorful dishes, attentive and friendly service, small but welcoming place, green prevails, a color that reflects it, light background music... in short, to go there!! I am so happy I found this place. Everything on the menu is either vegetarian or vegan. First, I ordered spaghetti with broccoli, olives, capers and a bit of tomato. The meal was good, but not for 10, I would give it 8/10. But then I ordered sformatino (my first time eating sformatino) with red onions and it was delicious, 10/10. The onion on the top was perfectly crunchy and salty. And the meal also looked amazing! I finished my lunch with semifreddo (it's like a mix of ice cream and a cake) with nuts, which was also perfect, 10/10. The waitress was very kind and I appreciate that she didn't switch to English when she heard my broken Italian. (: The ambient is bright and homely, and the place seems to attract people who come to peacefully enjoy food. I am definitely recommending this place!! It will definitely be the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Borgo San Lorenzo. I love the name of the place as well, nice word play, Magn'etico!

Io e mia moglie, vegani ultra convinti, abbiamo avuto il piacere proprio oggi di mangiare in questo splendido locale! Cibo di altissima qualità cucinato con grande maestria e passione dalla chef e servito dalla cameriera con estrema grazia e gentilezza!!!! Una coreografia di gusti e di colori che ci ha lasciato soddisfattissimi!!!!! Complimenti veramente a tutto lo staff!!!! Pietro e Luciana

Una bella scoperta, io che al ristorante vegetariano non avrei mai pensato di andare, mi sono ricreduto in questo locale accogliente e molto curato, dove le portate ispirano voglia di mangiare e si fanno apprezzare per la qualità. Consigliatissimo. Piatto preferito i ravioli. Da provare

22/08/2025: The experience was unique: more than the food, what struck me was the convivial atmosphere that reigned within the dining room. My hat's off to Dario for creating something truly unique. That said, I wasn't thrilled with the meat and food in general, especially considering we're in Tuscany, home of the Chianina beef, while here the meat is raised in Spain. As for the restaurant, I think there are better places in the area. Congratulations to Dario for the project and the energy it exudes.
21/08/2025: I've been going there for 4-5 years: nothing to complain about the quality, always excellent. Maybe it's COVID, the crisis, or inflation, but today we ate very little. Years ago, every course was brought back; today, every request for seconds has always been met with a negative response. Too little.

22/07/2025: We enjoyed our food at this restaurant. It was in the city of florence which can be reached by walking there or taking the bus. The restaurant has specially set up watersprays for this hot weather. That was so cooling and was the best part of the restaurant. If you want an italian restaurant with an cooling setting, then this is the right place. Go and enjoy 😉

The people who work there are absolutely excellent, from the waiters to the chefs and the owners, always on duty and ready to welcome anyone who wants to stop for a refreshing break. I always recommend this place to everyone because they've never disappointed me. Be wary of any negative comments; I live an hour away from Florence and am here almost every day for work, and I can confirm that Ristorante Pizzeria Canto De' Nelli is the best you'll find in central Florence. I often eat at this restaurant for work. It's hands down the best restaurant I've found in Florence. The prices are more than fair, and the food and drinks are always top-quality. The service and cleanliness are impeccable. The people who work there are absolutely excellent, from the waiters to the chefs and the owners, always on duty and ready to welcome anyone who wants to stop for a refreshing break.
