We were somewhat disappointed with our experience at Osteria Lucchi. The filet with Saba was good, the butcher's grill disappointing, and the grated vegetables were so-so. Nice place, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. In short, a missed opportunity...

I've been there before and was very satisfied, and this (second) visit confirmed the quality and attention to detail of the food, service, and location.
To summarize:
A platter, a chicken liver crostini, 2 steaks, 1 mutton, 1 fillet with saba sauce, 1 bottle of Nespoli wine (€28), water, and 2 coffees: €176 = €44 per person (4 people).
I really enjoyed the fillet with saba sauce!

Pleasant trattoria in the little square in Montiano, we had a selection of 3 cheeses and two excellent veal fillets, cooked perfectly rare. Service present, kind and discreet. Well done

Una super piacevole scoperta, era diverso tempo che volevo andare ieri sera abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di mia figlia.
Un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, Fiorentina , tagliata filetto grigliata super, battuta stratosferica direi super consigliato. I ragazzi molto molto bravi e accoglienti

We have been to this restaurant and the experience was truly excellent. Everything was delicious, from the main courses to the desserts, high quality and full of flavor. A special praise goes to the staff, super kind and welcoming, we felt pampered from start to finish.
A big compliment also for the off-menu cappellacci: simply out of this world! A real surprise, absolutely worth trying if you find them available.
We will definitely be back, highly recommended!
