Small and welcoming place in the heart of Montiano. Obviously specializing in meat, it offers various versions of cuts and fillets. Too bad that white meat is not present in the official menu and my lamb was very fatty. However, excellent price-quality ratio. Excellent vegetables! Quality oil

Let's say that the 5-star standard does not favor this place which was born as a butcher's shop and has evolved into a restaurant with a nice outdoor room (closed and warm) but noisy. In my idea it would have been 3.5 but that's it. My rating is defined by the quality of the meat which I honestly expected to be higher given the background of the restaurant. I did not find an adequate presentation of the dishes either from the menu or from the staff, so the choice was a bit based on feeling and the satisfaction, in my opinion, limited to abundant sufficiency but nothing excellent. The starters were a bit limited in variety but of good quality, I expected more from the meat, while the side dishes were good. Desserts are always difficult to judge, but in this case as in many others they did not move my overall experience upwards. For what I ate I had the feeling of having spent a little too much, also due to some misunderstandings in the orders (but in this case the blame is shared). Perhaps what influenced my opinion, which I repeat is more than sufficient, was the expectation of finding myself in a different situation, with the soul of a butcher's shop and not the vocation of a 'restaurant'.

If you want to transform a normal evening into a special evening, go to Lucchi, at the tables young waiters who are good and friendly in the dishes, high quality products in the glasses, excellent wines on the bill, the certainty of not being robbed, it's difficult to find all of this in one place HAPPY HOLIDAYS

All delicious, intimate place for couples but also very nice for groups of friends, nice view of the square while you eat your meal. I highly recommend:

The meat was excellent, you can see from the photos of the dishes that the meat is cut of quality, I would definitely go back!

Really excellent wine. Really friendly staff and Sangiovese pear for dessert...a spectacle!! I hope to return!!

Affacciata sulla piazza principale di Montiano, in un ambiente dal sapore vintage, dal quale si può ammirare la Rocca Malatestiana e la torre civica, l’Osteria Macelleria Lucchi porta avanti una tradizione di buona gastronomia romagnola a base di carne. Situata nella Valle del Rubicone, a pochi minuti dalla Via Emilia salendo da Calisese, l’Osteria / Trattoria Lucchi valorizza le ricette tradizionali del territorio, con una speciale attenzione per la carne. Si tratta di un'attività nata nei locali storici della macelleria Lucchi, ampliata con un dehors di 50 mq nella piazza di Montiano che permette una capienza del ristorante di circa 50 persone. Eravamo in due coppie ed ovviamente siamo stati attratti dai piatti di carne accennando un minimo di assaggio degli antipasti ordinando un MISTO DELL’OSTERIA che consiste in una selezione di salumi misti del te, bruschette miste ed un assaggio di fegatini. Per secondo ci siamo sbizzarriti ordinando LA TAGLIATA, controfiletto di scottona piemontese servito su misticanza e condito con olio evo bio, erbe aromatiche e sale di Cervia, STRACCETTI di scottona piemontese all’aceto balsamico su letto di misticanza, una GRIGLIATA DEL MACELLAIO (abbondantissima) consistente in una selezione di salsiccia a punta di coltello di maiale, costoletta di maialino, pancetta, braciola, salame fresco e castrato, ed infine una porzione di CASTRATO selezione di costolette e coscia di castrato alla griglia. Il tutto innaffiato da un Sangiovese DOC che insieme a delle Verdure Grigliate ed in Gratè hanno deliziato la serata. Prezzo, forse, leggermente superiore alla media, attorno ai 45 euro a persona, ma qualità eccelsa. Per chi non lo conosce consiglio di trascorrervi una serata: si consiglia prenotare, soprattutto nei weekend.

Overlooking the main square of Montiano, in an environment with a vintage flavour, from which you can admire the Rocca Malatestiana and the civic tower, the Osteria Macelleria Lucchi carries on a tradition of good meat-based Romagna gastronomy. Located in the Rubicone Valley, a few minutes from the Via Emilia going up from Calisese, the Osteria / Trattoria Lucchi enhances the traditional recipes of the area, with a special attention to meat. This is an activity born in the historic premises of the Lucchi butcher's shop, expanded with a 50 m2 dehors in the Montiano square which allows the restaurant to have a capacity of around 50 people. We were two couples and obviously we were attracted by the meat dishes, mentioning a minimum taste of the appetizers by ordering a MISTO DELL'OSTERIA which consists of a selection of mixed tea cured meats, mixed bruschetta and a taste of livers. For the second course we indulged ourselves by ordering LA TAGLIATA, sirloin of Piedmontese scottona served on mixed salad and seasoned with organic extra virgin olive oil, aromatic herbs and Cervia salt, STRACCETTI of Piedmontese scottona with balsamic vinegar on a bed of mixed salad, a BUTCHER'S GRILL (very plentiful) consisting of a selection of pork knife point sausage, pork chop, bacon, chop, fresh and mutton salami, and finally a portion of MASTRATED selection of ribs and grilled mutton leg. All washed down with a Sangiovese DOC which, together with grilled and grated vegetables, delighted the evening. Price, perhaps, slightly higher than average, around 45 euros per person, but excellent quality. For those who don't know it, I recommend spending an evening there: booking is recommended, especially on weekends.

Sono stato spesso presso Lucchi e non si smentisce mai. La location nella veranda è veramente speciale, sia d’inverno con la stufa che riscalda l’ambiente che d’inverno con qualche tavolo fuori. La qualità del cibo è veramente alta, ovviamente avendo la macelleria all’interno, consiglio le loro carni, anche i crudi (forse i migliori). Qualità prezzo giusto!
