I went one evening with an old friend for a quiet chat. We were both coming off recently ended relationships. We expected everything except what happened. The place was beautiful, the dishes we ordered were delicious. The owner, however, was less so. She, knowing my companion well, engaged in unsolicited conversation, literally smoking in our faces [We're alone, anyway]. Not content with that, when it came time to pay, she grilled me about who I was, making unsolicited comments, but she didn't realize I was right behind a mountain of wine boxes and could hear everything. Obviously, I refrained from creating conflict, but my friend, once he'd turned around and feeling very embarrassed, obviously apologized for the rudeness of the lady, who certainly can only be called that as a common noun, not as an adjective. Obviously, we never stayed there again. Talk about "putting the ham on the pig!"

Always excellent in everything food, service and location

An excellent location for a superb multi-course dinner. Prices are reasonable and justifiable. Due to its unique location, it's not overcrowded with tourists. A special feature is the excellent selection of Tuscan wines.

Very nice location, with both indoor and outdoor dining options. Panoramic views of Lake Massaciuccoli. Good food. Friendly and courteous staff, both the owners and a young woman. Small private parking lot.

Everything was perfect, beautiful place, and delicious food! Friendly and helpful owners! Excellent wine cellar! I highly recommend it :)
