Undoubtedly the place has some plus points: the panoramic view and the gazebos in which it is possible to eat, which are adorned with beautiful white curtains. Another strong point is the quality of the raw materials they use in the kitchen. Excellent cured meats, excellent quality of tagliatelle. That said, the service is completely impersonal and not empathetic towards the customer, the sommelier's advice is ephemeral and somewhat limited to obvious pairings, the food is good but lacks that something that allows you to remember it or appreciate its originality . Ultimately the experience was positive but, also considering the prices, the place should improve on some aspects.

Absolutely try ravioli with truffle and steak and veal cheek

il locale è curato e attento ai dettagli. ha questa bellissima terrazza che fa godere di un ottimo panorama. il cibo, era veramente tantissimo tempo che non mangiavo cosi bene. complimenti, una carne buonissima. qualità prezzo. ottimo. torneremo sicuramente.

La chose qui vous régale le plus à cette table, c’est la vue sur la vallée. La terrasse jardin est charmante, mais, hélas, la cuisine n’est pas au niveau de ce cadre bucolique ! Chianti bio mais brûlant (je veux dire par là alcooleux, en manque d’équilibre). Recettes à la truffe sans saveur. En règle générale, ça manque de vivacité, d’intensité ! Rien d’inspiré et c’est bien dommage, vu que l’endroit, comme je l’ai dit pour commencer, est inspirant ! Un bon point : l’accueil des maîtres des lieux qui font preuve d’une énergie, d’une envie, d’un enthousiasme qui, manifestement, n’ont pas contaminé la brigade !

The fantastic ambience alone is worth 5 stars. In combination with the nice service and the great performance of the kitchen, it was a perfect evening for us. We were particularly impressed by the primi - tordelli al ragu, ravioli with burrata and black truffles and pici were all at the top level. We'd love to come back!

A stone's throw from the Massarosa exit of the motorway link that connects Lucca to Versilia, L'Oliveta comforts the customer with a splendid panorama of Lake Massaciuccoli. A well-kept garden, light sheets that frame the tables and move in the refreshing breeze on summer evenings. Cristina, always smiling and affectionate, is the soul of the Oliveta. Acquarello risotto is always an excellent choice. Complete and non-ordinary wine list. The Olive grove is always a nice idea.

Really tasty and well presented dishes, charming place, friendly and helpful staff. To try!
