The place is enchanting, you eat simple but refined dishes both in form and substance. You can rarely find an environment and an owner like this.

Delightful atmosphere, both in winter but especially in summer, with a wonderful outdoor garden where you can admire a splendid panorama. The food is of an absolute level, a menu of Tuscan cuisine revisited in a modern but also traditional way. Not to mention the service, professionalism but above all the feeling of feeling pampered from start to finish. The best!

First of all: Unfortunately I can't rate the room because we only visited the restaurant.
Location: The restaurant is a bit remote and therefore not easy to reach, especially in bad weather - it rained heavily here. However, there is ample parking on site and the surroundings and views are breathtakingly beautiful.
About the restaurant itself: It seems like the restaurant relies heavily on advance reservations. The opening hours are quite short and I had the impression that they prepare well for their guests. The effort that goes into behind the scenes is enormous, which is also evident in the care and precision with which the food is served.
I have never received such professional service as I did in this restaurant. Although I haven't been to a 5-star restaurant yet, the quality here is definitely close to that. Simply brilliant! The food was excellent and the portions were generous. If you want to enjoy all courses - starter, main course (possibly in two courses) and a dessert - you should definitely come with a big appetite.
Starter: For starters I had three different types of sheep's cheese, from very soft to firm cheese, which were excellently presented and incredibly tasty.
Main course: For the main course I received a large piece of meat that was perfectly fried and seasoned. What was particularly noteworthy was the hot plate that was also given to me in case I wanted to fry the meat even more to my liking. A really thoughtful and special detail.
Dessert: The highlight of the menu was my dessert – a tiramisu served in a flower pot. It was arranged to look like a planted flower (see picture). A creative and delicious surprise that perfectly rounded off the evening.
Between the courses there were always small exotic surprises that were served in style and invited people to try them out.
The service was extremely professional, attentive and courteous. As a guest you really feel valued and well looked after.

Very good cuisine. The dishes are varied and excellently prepared. Everything was a delight for the palate. The greetings from the kitchen in between happy surprises. The location is excellent in a small, old part of the village. It was a real joy! Thank you for the great evening.

L'établissement parfait pour vivre une autre expérience de la cuisine toscane tout en gardant le respect des produits locaux et le tout fait maison Les associations de mets surprenants. Si vous souhaitez faire un repas différent que les mets typiques toscans, allez y vous serez étonnez. Nous avons très bien mangés. Le service était très bien et les explications claires. Ceci tout en anglais.

L'apparenza c'e' tutta, la sostanza un po' meno. Il ristorante si trova in un piccolo borgo a Penna alta, con strada un po' ripida per raggiungerlo. Il panorama e' molto gradevole se si cena fuori all'aperto e il servizio abbastanza veloce. Ci hanno servito un'entree' particolare, con mini assaggini serviti su tronchetti e anche su un sasso, tutto buono e forse la parte migliore della cena. Come primi, abbiamo mangiato ravioli al tartufo che non mi hanno convinto e pappardelle al sugo di papero, buone. Per secondo, tartare di fassona con spuma di burrata: troppa burrata e poca carne e maialino dolce e salato: gustoso ma troppo cotto. Dolci: dopo un gradevole predessert (un bonbon al cioccolato bianco), un piantami-su e cioe' una versione di tiramisu' servita su un vasetto da fiori con dentro una carota vera (non mi e' piaciuto al gusto) e una deliziosa torta morbida al cioccolato con frutti di bosco.

Excellent dinner! The place is enchanting, we are immersed in the small village of Penna Alta with a view of the valley. Nothing to say about the food, the excellent raw materials combined with the skill of the chefs produce dishes that explode in your mouth! The people are kind, very friendly and prepared. I highly recommend a dinner here because in addition to eating well, you don't spend much! We will return with absolute pleasure

I had wanted to go there for a long time because people in the area had spoken very highly of it to me and I wasn't actually disappointed... immersed in a typically Tuscan context where stone reigns supreme, it is possible to sit on the terrace overlooking the valley. Here you find a refined cuisine that revisits local dishes and it is a successful feature that I greatly appreciated. The only exception was a few "tastes" that didn't resonate with my tastes... all the main dishes were excellent. I advise
