Osteria Liparota In Lipari

Highly recommended restaurant in the main street of Lipari. We weren't able to taste all the dishes we would have liked (due to a large lunch that ended a few hours before...), but what we ordered was exquisite, fresh and very accurate: swordfish rolls, escarole, buffalo mozzarella with raw prawns and mandarin jam, millefeuille with ricotta cream. Next time we will definitely be back to try the wonderful pasta dishes that were on offer.. Only note, the tables could be spaced further apart.

A restaurant on the Corso di Lipari (the quietest part), dining at the tables outside is very characteristic. The team is very young, kind, competent. The food was really, really good, a mix of tradition and innovation. The plating is beautiful and the portions are right (not the usual small taste that unfortunately is often found in other restaurants). Sweet and sour meatballs, seafood salad, grouper ravioli, octopus with chickpea cream, Malvasia tiramisu. I really liked that the owner/chef came to the table to advise us and describe the dishes. I can't wait to return.

Simply exquisite, as a big fan of octopus, it is cooked perfectly, slightly crispy, the chickpea puree with almonds for even more crunch! THANKS

Small restaurant in the center of Lipari, where you can taste typical Aeolian dishes, mainly fish. The dishes I tasted (caponata and spaghettoni with sea urchins not on the menu) were really good. The staff is really friendly, attentive to the customer. Prices are medium high but justified by the quality

Osteria Liparota in Lipari offers a culinary experience that captures the essence of the island. Located in a central area, the tavern, although small in size, manages to convey an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the food is truly remarkable: from the starter, which was able to delight with fresh and genuine flavours, to the second course, prepared with care and attention to detail, everything proved to live up to expectations. The setting is evocative and makes you feel immersed in the heart of the island, offering an authentic Aeolian experience. The only flaw of the evening was the wine, served slightly warm, a detail which however did not affect the overall quality of the dinner too much. Amazement at the warm and familiar welcome, thanks to Lorena's friendliness and the cuisine of the young chef Francesco, who with skill and passion has created fresh and tasty dishes by combining high quality local raw materials with explosive results for the palate. I highly recommend a visit to anyone who wants a memorable dining experience, enhanced by great courtesy. A place where the warmth of the welcome goes perfectly with the goodness of the cuisine.

Excellent experience, it was my husband and I for our third anniversary... the place is nice, attentive to details such as particular dishes. But the best things were the very good and tasty food, and the service, very attentive to the customer especially with some final surprises given that it was an important day for us... excellent quality/price. We hope to return soon. 🤗

5 stars because that's the limit....but it deserves 10!!!!!!! Hospitality, friendliness, friendliness, attention to the customer....really good!!!!! The food? SUPERLATIVE!!! an explosion of flavors in dishes proposed with imagination and refinement but at the same time simple and appetizing. Very fresh raw materials. The tables on the street with red chairs and colorful plates make the atmosphere magical.... A special thank you for making a lovely, cheerful and fun evening for my partner's birthday goes to the owner and his staff!!!!! What can I say... unique!! Conquered!!!!!!

I discovered this place by chance on my birthday and I must say that I ate dishes I had never eaten in my life, it was all very good, very particularly the burrata with mandarin jam and Mazzara prawns as well as the dessert a sort of puff pastry with caramelized capers. I also thank the owner and his staff for the emotions they gave me on a special day for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND SEE YOU NEXT TIME
