Definitely the best restaurant in Lipari. The quality of the raw materials, the wisdom in the preparation of the dishes, the innovation in the combinations of the ingredients, make OSTERIA LIPAROTA our point of reference during the short holiday in Lipari. The courtesy, the kindness, the professionalism of Francesco, the owner, and his collaborators highlight that the restaurant cannot be improvised but is the result of a hard and constant professional commitment. The quality-price ratio is right. The possible use of the bib that is offered to you at the beginning of the dinner is also nice and convivial. I was the first this year, in the Summer of 2025, to wear it and it was absolutely not a bad idea. Loving your job is reflected in the attention to detail. GOOD portions and very respectable waiting time. The bill aligned with the quality offered. Finally a restaurant worthy of the name, pride of the Aeolian culinary tradition.. In MAIORA

We had dinner two nights in a row in this restaurant and we had a great time, everything was delicious and the staff were very kind, Lorena was kind and very good, we will have fond memories.

We ate well, the service girls were very kind. Too bad for the broken cannoli which not only was not broken down but only cut in half and some diners only received one piece. When we asked for explanations they told us that they make them on the spot and that others would arrive. An explanation that seemed a bit like a fix for an error and had not been announced by the service.

Nice place with not many tables but well arranged.
Good food and interesting varieties. We had a good tuna and caper tartare, a decent mussel soup which however perhaps we wouldn't recommend, excellent creel shrimp, fried courgette flowers with excellent provola and mozzarella and a good burrata with anchovies. First of all, good tagliolini with squid ink, homemade with Aeolian flavors (we asked for a change which was promptly satisfied) and I had some good swordfish rolls.
Recommended place and we could try it again but it's still a bit expensive.
