There were four of us, and we ate two Florentine steaks with a side of fried artichokes and drank an excellent bottle of Chianti. The meat was very well cooked and decidedly tender, and the artichokes were absolutely spectacular, as they weren't the usual fried ones, but rather something special. The service was prompt, attentive, and extremely friendly. Excellent value for money! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Siena. Highly recommended!!! 👏👏

Don't be fooled by the entrance, which isn't welcoming or inviting. What you eat does matter. I'd call the dishes amazing, they're incredibly good. I think you can tell nothing's pre-made, and even if it were, I'd say it'd be impossible to tell. There were three of us, and we all had different starters, and we were all satisfied.

A truly positive experience. The atmosphere is small but well-maintained, quiet, and welcoming. The quality of the food is excellent, from appetizers to dessert.
We had the classic pici with ragù, which was truly delicious, and the pumpkin gnocchi on a bed of fondue and fresh truffle, superb! Finally, we had a delicious, top-quality pastiera della nonna.
The final bill was fair.

New Year's Eve dinner: off to a bad start, but a great comeback at the end.
The restaurant consists of two rather small rooms: the first, more reminiscent of a delicatessen, I must admit initially left me a bit perplexed and made me fear the worst. The second room, however, is the one dedicated to dinner, with the tables set; here too, the spaces are limited, but decidedly more suited to the atmosphere of the service.
Ordering wasn't the easiest: they took our orders strictly divided into appetizers, first courses, and second courses, without considering that not everyone intended to follow the entire menu. Many, in fact, chose to skip the appetizer or only order one course, and this created some initial confusion.
That said, the restaurant largely redeemed itself thanks to two key aspects: the speed of service and the kindness of the staff.
We sat down at 8:00 PM, with the shift scheduled to end at 10:00 PM, and honestly, we didn't expect them to be able to meet the schedule. Instead, to our surprise, the dinner proceeded punctually and well-organized, including dessert and coffee, without rushing or excessive waiting.
The dishes were all truly excellent: from the rich and flavorful pici al ragù, to the balanced and creamy pici cacio e pepe, to the tender and flavorful ossobuco.
A decidedly positive ending that transformed an uncertain start into a pleasant New Year's Eve experience.
