Osteria Le Sette Chiese In Bologna

Had the most amazing meal here with my husband! Hands down the best food we had during our travels through Italy. We were very lucky to get a table - would advise booking so not to be disappointed.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Osteria Le Sette Chiese in Bologna. We ordered Arrosto di cappone, Cotoletta Sette Chiese, and Lasagne verdi alla bolognese, and each dish was memorable in its own way. The Arrosto di cappone was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned — rich without being heavy, with deep, comforting flavors that felt very traditional. The Cotoletta Sette Chiese was impressive in both size and taste. Crispy on the outside, succulent on the inside, and beautifully balanced — a dish that feels indulgent yet refined. And of course, the Lasagne verdi alla bolognese were simply outstanding. The green pasta layers were delicate and fresh, the ragù slow-cooked to perfection, and the béchamel smooth and harmonious. It’s exactly what you hope to taste when you come to Bologna. All the dishes were interesting, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really feel the respect for local ingredients and culinary tradition. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Bolognese cuisine in a cozy and genuine setting, Osteria Le Sette Chiese is definitely worth visiting.
