We served here a very good cutlet with parmesan sauce. At least on weekends, you need to make a reservation to get a seat.

Trip to Bologna with wife. Recommended by a friend, we booked at this Osteria and we will certainly thank him. Family environment, small and giving a pleasant sensation of human warmth.
Friendly and very fast service. Delicious tortellini in parmesan and gramigna cream with sausage. Special mention for the Bolognese cutlet with potatoes. We recommend it.

This is the typical tavern in the center of Bologna near the Casa delle Mercanzie and not a "fake" tourist catcher. It is small and it is therefore advisable to book but when you take a seat you can try the typical Bolognese cuisine, just as you expect.
The service is informal, kind and quick.
The toilet is tidy and clean.
I will definitely return as soon as I have the chance.

It is the right place to find traditional Bolognese cuisine, grandmother's cooking, Mrs. Damiana is an exceptional cook, I have never eaten a better lasagna than this and what can I say about the tortellini in broth... superlative!
The second courses are also excellent, the Bolognese cutlet is delicious and the roast capon is really tasty.
Even the ladyfingers in the tiramisu are homemade.
We ate so well and were welcomed, us and our dogs, with extreme kindness and friendliness by Oste Ale that we returned the next day for lunch.
We will definitely return when we return to Bologna!

L’Osteria delle Sette Chiese è favolosa! L’ambiente è semplice e ospitale, quando entri sembra di stare in un’osteria negli anni ‘80. Il cibo è a dir poco squisito, piatti abbondanti e serviti con poco tempo d’attesa. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile e sa metterti a tuo agio, il proprietario è molto simpatico e la cameriera molto dolce. Prezzo ottimo, abbiamo
pagato davvero pochissimo. Sono molto contenta di aver scoperto quest’osteria inserita in un vicolo tranquillo. La consiglio caldamente perché davvero ne vale la pena!
