Osteria Le Panzanelle In Radda in chianti

Suggested by a local friend as one of the last places to appreciate the true Tuscan cuisine of the past, it is located on the border between Florence and Siena. Very well-kept place, impeccable cuisine and service; targeted and well-stocked menu. As a welcome entree offered by the house, fried anchovies accompanied by sweet and sour red onions and pine nuts very tasty. For first courses we chose pici all'aglione and ribollita both of excellent workmanship, accompanied by two glasses of strictly local wine. For second course I opted for a plate of mixed Tuscan cold cuts. Classic desserts, I recommend the apple pie! Amaro at the end of the meal kindly offered by the owners. The portions are nice and generous!! Average cost for good cuisine.

No trip to Chianti is complete without a visit to this local legendary Osteria.

We were there for lunch and had a starter and 1 first course each, what we tasted was truly excellent, the service was attentive and kind. The room is not very large, better to call first. And if I'm in the area again I'll be back

Super local, courteous and knowledgeable staff, SUPER wine list and everything we ate was excellent. The crostini and Florentine steak are recommended

In the last few months I have been to this restaurant twice and I have always eaten very well with excellent service and dishes. Also worthy of note is the wine list and the Florentine dishes. Personally, I really like the decor of the place: refined but without pomposity.

Chosen almost by chance by searching on the internet. Characteristic place with excellent cuisine. Kindness and professionalism are not lacking. We ate very well and paid the right price. Very satisfied.

The food probably goes beyond 5 stars, truly excellent, with low prices compared to the rest of our Tuscan stay. The room felt a little cold. The staff was very kind and friendly, but at the end of lunch they made a mistake that is impossible not to underline: we found an extra Scottona (€50) on our bill. They promptly corrected everything to our note, but if we hadn't checked we would have paid 20% more. It certainly wasn't done voluntarily, but this cannot help but impact the review.

An old-fashioned tavern! It was like going to eat "at grandma's". Everything was delicious, starting from the starters. The first courses were tasty and plentiful and the meat cooked to perfection. The service was fast and available. If I could have given more stars I would have! We will definitely be back.
