Osteria Le Panzanelle In Radda in chianti

No trip to Chianti is complete without a visit to this local legendary Osteria. It’s certainly beyond my expectations. Very nice cooking and sophisticated taste. Plus the place is beautiful.

As good as the dishes we tried were, the service was so bad and the staff was so slow that it really wasn't worth the visit and our money. There are much better options in the area! The waiter who had taken charge of our wine had no idea what he was serving.. disappointing

Excellent place, a little touristy, but still quite typical! And located in a strategic point! The only thing that bothered me was that the ingredients on the menu were in English instead of Italian!

Incredible value and an amazing atmosphere. Very welcoming service. Gelato do Vin Santo was a stand out dish. Would absolutely recommend. And of course an incredibly through wine list by commune.

Le vecchie trattorie proponevano una cucina del territorio fatta con prodotti giusti, con un ricco condimento e sapori decisi che ti esplodono in bocca e che ti spingono a finire il piatto abbondante che ti viene servito. L’osteria Le Panzanelle appartiene a questo genere ormai in estinzione con porzioni generose, sapori intensi, prezzi ragionevoli, personale giovane e professionale, carta dei vini molto ampia con una particolare attenzione ai vini del Chianti classico (io ho preso un interessante valdellecorti con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo). Mi sono piaciuti molto gli stracci di pesticcia (un ricco sugo con salsiccia e funghi) e soprattutto il peposo di guancia, fatto con carne tenerissima e con una salsa non troppo piccante e lucida come sono le salse di qualità.

Torno dopo due anni a "Le Panzanelle"; cucina sempre attenta, pane olio e vino che danno subito la conferma della tradizione (il profumo del pane cotto a legna vale il viaggio!) Ottime le pappardelle al capriolo, buona la tagliata, buone le uova con lo zabaione salato, ottimi i dolci (profiterole e torta al cioccolato). Servizio perfetto, rapporto prezzo qualità ottimo. Ci torneremo.
