We were there for lunch and had a starter and 1 first course each, what we tasted was truly excellent, the service was attentive and kind. The room is not very large, better to call first. And if I'm in the area again I'll be back

Super local, courteous and knowledgeable staff, SUPER wine list and everything we ate was excellent. The crostini and Florentine steak are recommended

In the last few months I have been to this restaurant twice and I have always eaten very well with excellent service and dishes. Also worthy of note is the wine list and the Florentine dishes. Personally, I really like the decor of the place: refined but without pomposity.

Chosen almost by chance by searching on the internet. Characteristic place with excellent cuisine. Kindness and professionalism are not lacking. We ate very well and paid the right price. Very satisfied.

The food probably goes beyond 5 stars, truly excellent, with low prices compared to the rest of our Tuscan stay. The room felt a little cold. The staff was very kind and friendly, but at the end of lunch they made a mistake that is impossible not to underline: we found an extra Scottona (€50) on our bill. They promptly corrected everything to our note, but if we hadn't checked we would have paid 20% more. It certainly wasn't done voluntarily, but this cannot help but impact the review.

An old-fashioned tavern! It was like going to eat "at grandma's". Everything was delicious, starting from the starters. The first courses were tasty and plentiful and the meat cooked to perfection. The service was fast and available. If I could have given more stars I would have! We will definitely be back.

Agriturismo Belagaggio

14/01/2025: From the first moment we arrived at the Belagaggio farmhouse we understood that it was the perfect place for our wedding. Then when we started talking to Giorgio we no longer had any doubts. It is a truly magical place, nestled in the hills between the Val d'Orcia and the Valdichiana, extremely well looked after down to the smallest detail. Giorgio and his family have always been available to satisfy us on everything, with a kindness and honesty that is really difficult to find nowadays, especially in the wedding organization sector. The rooms are tidy and spotless, the food is quality and delicious. Our guests were thrilled with everything. The event was perfect from every point of view and certainly left an indelible memory in everyone's hearts. I can only recommend the farmhouse, not only to celebrate an event but also just to stay. Thanks to Giorgio and his family for giving us the best day of our lives!
03/01/2025: I had the opportunity to go to dinner at this beautiful farmhouse twice. The structure is well looked after, excellent cuisine and excellent service I congratulate you on the professionalism and hospitality shown!

La Bottega di Volpaia

07/01/2025: Space. We ended up here by chance: the sweetness and helpfulness of the owners made us fall in love. Welcoming environment, with attention to the smallest details. The dishes are absolutely delicious, fantastic pici with wild boar with an extra touch (to be discovered). For the second course we chose some vegetables: absolutely fabulous, from their garden; the chef cooks them in a surprising way. Selection of castle wines. In short, we would never go away again. Highly recommended from all points of view.
23/12/2024: The kindest people I have met in Volpaia - or in Tuscany recently - after visiting literally hundreds of times (Volpaia is on my way to Siena when I go for bike rides). I showed up two days ago in muddy cycling clothes and this is quite a high end spot, the young woman running the place with her husband - Martina - greeted me and my cycling buddy the most welcoming way. I was pretty amazed, I have never been treated this nice in Volpaia, especially considering my outfit. Martina insisted for us to sit at the restaurant although we were just having a quick coffee and cake and spent lots of time chatting with us. Also Asif who works at the bar, and who had already rescued us with coffee in the past while the rest of the village was shut, is super kind and service minded and it’s a pleasure to see him when we get here. I have only stopped here for coffee and cake so far, but I will definitely come back for a proper meal not only because what they do looks delicious, but mostly because I want to support a place run by such kind people.
