A historic restaurant in Milan's Loreto neighborhood, known primarily for its traditional dishes.
However, I must say that I didn't like the risotto with ossobuco; I thought it lacked flavor and the rice was overcooked.
The cutlet wasn't bad.
The prices were too high, around €35 per person for a single dish.

The ideal place to enjoy authentic Milanese and Lombard cuisine.
In a casual setting, yet meticulously maintained, with meticulous customer service.
The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly.
Davide, the owner, looked after us from start to finish, recommending the perfect wines for each course.
Highly recommended.

Dinner tonight at La Piola was AMAZING! I was so happy with the kitchen and the waiters for their fantastic work. We left from Barcelona, and it was a wonderful surprise to enjoy such high-quality Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it, and as a cooking teacher, I assure you that I am very demanding. HAPPY, I LOVED IT!

Excellent restaurant, located on the corner of Viale Abruzzi and Via Plinio, serving traditional Milanese cuisine. Everything is excellent and beautifully presented, from appetizers to first courses to desserts. Prices are reasonable considering you're in Milan. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect risotto alla milanese. Delicious cutlet. Tasty Mondeghili. Good wines by the glass. Excellent quality/quantity/price ratio! I'll definitely be back and recommend it.

A small and quaint restaurant. It's a shame about the wobbly table, which the wait staff set with a napkin, but I guess it wasn't a problem when it first appeared...
The food was average, the sciatt appetizer was nothing special: I expected the inside to be melted, but instead it was a block of cheese. For the main courses, the risotto with ossobuco was better than the cutlet. There was an excessive wait for the wine order; the appetizers arrived first. I would avoid placing the wines against the wall by climbing onto the adjacent benches while people are still sitting there eating and turning around and finding their butts in your face, even though they're the last tables of the evening.

Despite the crowds, they maintained their organization. A rare thing these days.
Excellent food; being Ligurian, we chose the Milanese risotto as a one-dish meal. We'll be back again soon, having had our grandchildren for lunch. The staff deserves praise, given that I managed restaurants in 4-star hotels for years. My compliments, truly.
