Historic trattoria in Milan, for its location and atmosphere, where you can eat local dishes, good yes but at decidedly high prices. Portions not abundant.

Everyone seemed to be local except for the table I was sitting at. I had ossobuco and tiramisu, and I recommend both :) If you're tired of pizza, pasta, gnocchi, or steak, try ossobuco. It felt like non-sweet ribs and had a good texture. And you may have already eaten a lot of tiramisu, but here they sprinkle a little bit of tiramisu nut + chocolate crunch, and the meal was a little salty, so it was a good way to end it on a sweet note. If an acquaintance asks me to recommend a restaurant in Milan, I think I'll introduce it first.

I made a reservation in advance and visited. It was my first time trying a dish called ossobuco and it was really my taste. The meat was delicious, but the risotto underneath was really, really delicious. Subtle, deep flavor? I want to eat it again. The manager was pleasant, gave me fun wine recommendations, and was really kind. I visited three cities: Milan, Rome, and Naples, and this was the friendliest store.

I tried this typical Milanese osteria and it was a nice experience I ordered the polenta taragna and some ravioli, both good dishes at correct prices, low by Milan standards I recommend it for those who want to try authentic Milanese without spending a lot Typical place Friendly and trained staff

Fantastic place to taste Milano cuisine with great drinks and of course people. We tried braised beef with mushroom , Polenta with the ossobuco and safran risotto Couldn’t be better. thank you

Pausa pranzo in questa trattoria in centro a Milano, locale semplice, menu tutto tradizionale, servizio gentile. Molto buona la cotoletta con l’osso. Prezzi non proprio da trattoria.

24/05/2025: A truly special evening in one of the meccas for lovers of Milanese cuisine, a place that has made the history of Milanese cuisine... in short, very high expectations and, in the end, fully satisfied. The restaurant is located in a peripheral area of ​​Milan, but full of history, a place that seems to have come out of a song by Jannacci or Gaber, a place that smells of work, fatigue, fog, cold... but inside so much warmth and so much tradition. Our dinner begins with a sharing of a dish that sent us into a tailspin: nervetti! Eaten dozens of times, but here they offer them in a variation never tried: hot with onion, parsley and vinegar. A sublime dish. We then continue with the dish that deserves the highest step of the podium of the evening and not only that, in fact their risotto with saffron stims, superior butter and Lodigiano Riserva is almost perfect and, from memory, I don't remember having eaten better ones... and that's a very strong statement given that we are Milanese doc! We continue with an off-menu item for my wife, that is, a long-cooked veal tip that, having tasted it, I have no hesitation in defining it as truly excellent; I go for a "classic" dish: the Milanese cutlet that they offer in a tall version, with bone and pink. The quality of the meat is 10 and praise, cooking is not exactly pink, it was a little over, but let's say that the taste is not affected: moist and exceptional frying. Not full, I allow myself to finish with a plate of snails, divine! The evening was bathed in an excellent Lugana di Ca' Lojera Riserva del Lupo 2020.
