A beautiful place in old Milan, it doesn't even feel like you're in the city. Excellent service, very kind waiters, very good food. But the place and the garden are worth it regardless.

€6 for a cover charge and €4 for still water is a lot... the tortelli stuffed with ossobuco were very good, I must say, while the vitello tonnato was a complete disappointment... the sauce wasn't bad, but the veal was poor quality, full of sinew and in places you could feel the tough pieces. One of the most disgusting vitello tonnato I've ever eaten. Beautiful location both inside and out. Excellent service at lunch, the waiters were very good overall.

We arrived without a reservation and waited five minutes. Then a kind lady showed us to our table. They brought some small appetizers, which were included in the service. The risotto was delicious. Historic location, surrounded by greenery.

Trattoria Al Laghett

07/05/2026: I had been to Laghett a while ago for my daughter's confirmation. We ate under that beautiful wisteria in an almost magical atmosphere. We ate well, were treated well, in such a homely setting. So I decided to return, again under the same wisteria to celebrate a family birthday, and this time it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, the wisteria is always there to create the perfect ambiance, and we ate absolutely delicious. What can I say...highly recommended!
07/05/2026: A legendary place. Just steps from Chiaravalle Abbey. It has a beautiful pergola in the garden. Excellent traditional Lombard food. We'll always return.

11/05/2026: It's been years since we last came, but nothing has changed. It's a bit like going to your uncle's house. The food is excellent, everything is fresh and beautifully served. The meat is top-quality, the pizza is always delicious. Everything is delicious, and they are all the friends we all wish we had. Go there, you'll be amazed. I love Ristorante Aurora. Highly recommended.
