Excellent traditional Matera cuisine. Easy to find thanks to the nearby multi-story parking lot, and fair prices. I definitely recommend the sheep pignatello served in a bread cup.

We spent a day and a half in Matera. The lady at the B&B recommended this restaurant to us. We had lunch and dinner both times and had a wonderful time. At lunch we sampled the local specialties, and in the evening 🍕.🤤 The staff were very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it. Make sure you book.

Cet endroit vaut le détour ! On y mange très bien : goûtez à la pignata, ce fut une belle découverte pour nous. Le personnel est également très chaleureux.

Quattro coppie di Roma in gita a Matera. Cena perfetta per quantità e qualità. Da segnalare soprattutto la pignata, un piatto .che non conoscevamo e che ci ha fatto innamorare. Servizio professionale, arricchito dalla giovane simpatia del cameriere Momo. Volevamo fare il bis la sera seguente ma era tutto prenotato. Torneremo sicuramente a Matera ( SPLENDITA) e alla Pignata. Daje Ragazzi

10/06/2025: I'm from Matera but I've lived outside for many years. I emphasize this because going to Anna's means tasting the TRUE FLAVORS OF LUCAN. Out of this world lasagna, broad beans and chicory, orecchiette turnip tops, fried breadcrumbs and crusco. Braciole, sausages and so on and so forth. It's all stratospheric! Well done and kind ❤️

08/10/2025: Randomly walked into a restaurant, the cheese appetizer was very good, the steak was also good, and the pasta was average.
