Very good pizzeria!
We ate both lunch and dinner.
The portions were generous and of high quality.
The pizzas (thin crust) were very good.
For four of us, we spent €55 for lunch and €65.50 for dinner, so great prices!
Lunch: pasta and chickpeas, salad, pasta with tomato sauce, hamburger and fries, 1 liter of water, two coffees
Dinner: 4 pizzas, craft beer, Coke, 2 teas, 1 French fry, and two coffees.
The staff was very friendly both times; in fact, for dinner (we hadn't booked), they even managed to find us a table.

P.S. Watch out for the spicy oil...it's really spicy 😬

We had a family dinner here. The capocollo and burrata were incredibly fresh. The orecchiette alla materana were delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were helpful. The wait was short. The prices were reasonable.

I had dinner with my family at this restaurant a few weeks ago. It's a nice restaurant in the center of Matera. The food was average, and the service was very friendly. I recommend the charcuterie board, which was very good.

Very good meal. The manager welcomed us at 9:30 p.m. even though we hadn't booked. The server was welcoming, very kind, attentive, and responsive. We ate typical regional dishes. It was delicious. Thank you, La Pignata!

Trattoria at the entrance to the Sassi of Matera, a welcoming place with attentive, friendly staff.
Good dishes with quality ingredients, typical of Matera trattorias.
The location is definitely not typical of the Sassi, but more like a commercial, touristy trattoria.
We had a cheese appetizer (excellent), a pignata (I recommend), a plate of paccheri with caciocavallo and cruschi peppers (I don't recommend, you couldn't taste the flavors), a plate of plain pasta for the child, water and wine (I recommend the verb), total €65.
The only thing that disappointed me was that when I got the bill, I saw that the child's plain pasta was cooked like tomato sauce, for €8.
Overall, good.
Cet endroit vaut le détour ! On y mange très bien : goûtez à la pignata, ce fut une belle découverte pour nous. Le personnel est également très chaleureux.

Seguendo le recensioni di Tripadvisor abbiamo pranzato in questo locale, molto ampio, con le volte in tufo. In vista il forno elettrico dove preparano le pizze. Il personale cordiale ma poco coordinato (passavano più volte a chiederci le cose).Il cibo buono e di qualità.
