The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is kind and helpful.

We found this osteria somewhat by chance while wandering around Volterra and were very impressed. We're super satisfied with the portions and the deliciousness of the dishes.
The host is very kind and friendly, but be careful with the cough syrup after your coffee 🤭
The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is homey.
If we ever pass through Volterra again, we'll definitely be back.

Great hospitality, warm hospitality, and excellent traditional food. The crostini with cavolo nero and sweet baked ricotta with a glass of Vin Santo will put you back at peace with the world. Don't leave without some healthy cough syrup.

I highly recommend this osteria because it's truly delicious. From the homemade bread, to the homemade pici, and finally the tiramisu, one of the best I've ever tasted, every dish is a discovery. Plus, the staff makes you feel welcomed as their guest, not just a customer.

Volterra is a true gem in the Land of the Etruscans, in the province of Pisa.
Today, Saturday, November 22nd, the weather was terrible (it was snowing and incredibly cold), many places were closed, and this osteria was one of the few open.
The service was courteous and quick; we chose tripe and pici all'aglione. The crostini were also very good.
I gave the atmosphere 2 stars because, with it being so cold outside, we were hoping it would be warm inside, but it was cold inside too.
It's a shame because, apart from the fact that the place wasn't heated, everything else was good.
The prices are average.

I had already been to dinner at Osteria Pace, I remember having a great meal and on Saturday we went back, what can I say, the waiters are excellent and welcoming, the owner as well, then when you have things in common to joke and laugh the evening becomes even fun. ..we will definitely be back..!! @ excellent price quality.. the Florentine steak? Very good. I would add: also let them advise you!!!
