There are no words to adequately describe Osteria La Pace. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar. The food is all delicious, from appetizers to desserts. Hospitality and warmth are the order of the day. Definitely a must-see for anyone visiting Volterra!

Excellent dinner, excellent atmosphere, and excellent staff! They are very friendly people, both the servers and the owners—we loved it! The dishes were delicious. We tried: - Antipasti: Pappa al Pomodoro: a delightful discovery - Dish of the day: Pumpkin and mushroom lasagna: very, very good! - Pici al Aglione: delicious - Dessert: Chocolate marble cake reminiscent of salami in its marbling pattern, also delicious! - Their homemade liqueurs, affectionately named "Vitamin C" and "Cough Syrup," delicious! In short: We would definitely return if we were staying longer in Volterra. Go for it!

09/03/2026: Fantastic restaurant in the hills. Beautiful views, friendly service, and fabulous Tuscan dishes. The environment is clean and tidy, and dog-friendly. The sign at the entrance recommends not bringing cats. The road is a bit rough, but it's worth it. Kudos to the staff.
