Osteria La Miniera In Tignale

A cozy little garden restaurant that we've enjoyed visiting for years. Delicious, authentic food and beautifully presented. What always dampens the mood is the bored, incompetent service. At first, you're ignored for up to 30 minutes, then someone comes along who forgets half of your order. When the wine is finished, no one asks if you'd like a second bottle. Nobody even asks for dessert, which is such a shame and sad for the truly excellent chef.

Update May 29, 2025: Four people were in the restaurant this evening. The food continues to be of a very high standard. Both the starter and main course were once again impressive. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The wine selection was also very good. What I unfortunately haven't changed is the service. It's a shame. We weren't asked if we wanted another bottle of wine, or anything else. I think that's to be expected in a restaurant of this type. It's particularly bad when I order a bottle of water and, after three complaints, it still hasn't been delivered, and I then have to go inside and get it myself. I don't think a word of apology would be too much to ask. It's a shame. Hope Update: 3 years later. Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated drastically here as well. COVID has left its mark. Even for the good prices, you can expect decent service. It's a shame.

After visiting the splendid Santuario Monte Castello, we looked for a little place to eat something and we opted for this trattoria. The atmosphere is like the old Italian trattorias-osterie!!!! My favorites that are now tending to disappear. Beautiful outdoor garden immersed in the historic center of Tignale, away from the busy road. Good choice of food with typical dishes and a proposal of the catch of the day We tasted an excellent dish of whitefish proposed with two side dishes included in the price. Good quality and abundant. Delicious dessert: milk cream ice cream with candied lemon peel and Garda oil and chocolate flan with citrus jam!!!!! To finish, coffee and Amaro della Valvestino!!! A pleasant discovery. Congratulations!!!

Absolutely thrilled! The ambiance in the garden is rustic and romantic, the staff are very friendly, and the food is amazing! I recommend the spaghetti with venison.

We stumbled upon this osteria by chance through a travel guide. The service is extremely attentive and friendly, the menu is varied, and the food is exceptionally good. We will definitely be back.

Simply a dream... Our favorite restaurant, which we've visited on every Lake Garda vacation for many years. Great local food—thank goodness, no pizza.

A culinary highlight on Lake Garda – gluten-free and fantastic! We had a fantastic evening at La Miniera. Everything was incredibly delicious – from fresh fish to tender venison to spaghetti with venison: every dish was a hit! We were particularly impressed that everything was available gluten-free – without compromising on taste. Plus, a really good wine and a charming ambiance – what more could you want? You can even sit outside in the summer. A real insider tip for connoisseurs – we'll definitely be back!

Leckeres lombardisches Essen für Menschen, die auch mal traditionell am Berg essen wollen und nicht immer nur Pizza Würstel im überlaufenen Limone. Gute Fleischgerichte. Vegetarier, Veganer und Woke People sind hier fehl am Platz. Zu empfehlen sind Grillteller, Hase zu Ostern, Hirschragout und Rinderbacken. Alles super lecker. Location und Service sind top!
