A charming place, tucked away from the town center, but with nearby parking available. The decor is retro, but neat and clean. The welcome is warm, and the host, Peppino, makes you feel at home, immersing you in the Puglia he chronicles every month. The dishes are carefully prepared and well-explained, and the portions are just right. The service is a bit slow, but perhaps that's to help us soak up the atmosphere. Prices are slightly above average, but commensurate with the quality of the food.

Amazing place for special plates from Puglia. The owner is also the chef and works out its menu every now and then. No time yo get bored. From antipasto to desserts, nothing can be left out

This restaurant is a guarantee of authentic, authentic Apulian cuisine. Peppino tells stories about his cuisine that perfectly describe and convey what you're eating. There's only one flaw: the addiction to this cuisine 🤣, and even traveling a few extra kilometers is worth it. In my case, from Brescia 🤷🏻‍♂️ A must-try.

Peppino, the host, is a true character, truly passionate about his work and the history of food. His explanations are appreciated, just like his cuisine, which is made to order! There's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it!

Moscara Terra d'Otranto

10/01/2026: A lovely restaurant with good traditional Apulian food and very friendly staff. With The Fork app, you can get discounts of up to 50% on food. I'll gladly return.
28/12/2025: We returned to this restaurant after many years for a family dinner (9 people) and it was a bit of a disappointment. The pizzas are light and quite tasty. The first courses are average, although the portions are random (someone had 8 paccheri on their plate, others a mountain of orecchiette). However, the worst part is the service, rude and unreliable: besides the waiters being unable to explain what some dishes consisted of, they wouldn't let us order more than four different first courses (some had to make do with what others wanted), despite there being about fifteen on the menu. Furthermore, the first courses arrived after other diners had already finished their pizzas. On a positive note, we didn't spend much.

Retrò Gusto

29/11/2025: A very elegant restaurant serving refined, unconventional cuisine. All the dishes we tried were of excellent quality and preparation. The bill was slightly higher than expected, but justified by the quality of the entire meal, from appetizer to dessert.
28/11/2025: I went there for a business lunch and wanted to make a good impression... thank goodness I paid. The menu is reasonably varied and balanced, as is the wine selection. The dishes I tried (creamed cod on polenta crostini and spaghetti alla chitarra with backyard ragù) were pleasant, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, I found the quantity served unacceptable, especially considering the price. You can't pay €23 for a "normal" first course and finish it in five small forkfuls. And I don't think it's fair to pay €5 for a standard table overlooking a street of parked cars in a nondescript residential neighborhood, nor to offer parsimonious glasses of less-than-sublime wine starting at €10. Lastly, the staff is friendly but very aloof. I wonder how a restaurant with these characteristics manages to survive. I don't think everyone in Milan is wealthy and anorexic.
