Just steps from the historic center of Sansepolcro, this place, discovered by chance, is truly perfect for us.
Beautiful, large, welcoming, elegant, with plenty of indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor (air-conditioned covered patio) spaces, and that "bikers welcome" that says it all about the hospitality that extends to my world.
Excellent menu with a varied selection of typical and traditional dishes. Excellent cuisine, tasty and plentiful. It's special to taste the first courses directly from the pan where they were sautéed, avoiding the plating and focusing more on the essentials than the frills. As is the soapstone under the grilled meat to keep it warm. Excellent solutions!!
The highlight was the desserts prepared directly by the owner: truly delicious!!
Let's just say that for what we paid, three of us ate well and were satisfied.

The food was delicious, the wild boar ravioli wonderful, the chickpea, cod, and spinach soup amazing, and then for the main course, the meat was so tender and flavorful, excellent, excellent, all accompanied by the sweetness and kindness of the lady. We were there with our dog and she brought water for our furry friend without asking.
Highly recommended.

I'm 35 years old, I've eaten a lot of tagliata in my life, but here I ate one that is undoubtedly the best I've ever eaten... I'm just sorry that it's 150km from where I live.

A colleague and I were in Sansepolcro for work. Looking for a quiet place to eat, we stumbled upon this typical Tuscan osteria. As soon as we entered, I was immediately struck by a beautiful drum kit—a musical instrument I play—which made me think the owner was a musician as well as a restaurateur, and I wasn't wrong. But let's not beat around the bush and talk about the place and the food instead. We were greeted by a very professional, kind, polite, and above all knowledgeable young woman who offered advice and clarification both during the selection process and when it came time to serve our dishes, clearing up any doubts and concerns. We sat on the outdoor veranda, as it was a beautiful day today, and ordered the menu, which you can easily find online. I won't list it here, but I want to tell you about what I ate! I had a mixed antipasto with delicacies from days gone by, a wonderful warm liver pâté on warm toasted bread, a panzanella like I hadn't had in a long time, not to mention a wonderful crostini with caramelized onions, as well as cold cuts and excellent cheeses. Then I ordered pici all'aglione, made with a sauce of green tomatoes and, of course, aglione, on which I was advised to grate some fresh Pienza pecorino, grind some pepper, and drizzle with a drizzle of Tuscan DOP olive oil! The pasta wasn't dry, but fresh pici with a fantastic consistency. They were perfect, perhaps—and I'm not exaggerating—the best pici all'aglione I've ever eaten! I want to compliment chef Batterista and his staff. Highly recommended.

My partner and I stopped by chance for a quick aperitif, we asked for two glasses of wine with aperitif. We received a platter with three types of delicious bruschetta and the wine was also really excellent, plus we were also offered some bread with local oil, delicious!!!! The girl who served us was very kind and very helpful, highly recommended and I would definitely go back to try the cuisine!!!
