Very nice and refined place in Trastevere. Professional and kind staff, very good raw fish and also hot appetizers and desserts. A little disappointed by the first courses that didn't tell me anything special, both the one with squid ink and the pecorino and anchovies. Prices are not low but the quality is high we knew the owner well so they treated us very well

Not recommended for solo diners - or maybe they just didn’t like me? They straight up forgot to bring me my starter, instead immediately bringing out the pasta. The Cacio e Pepe was admittedly delicious , but the service was slow already and more big groups kept coming in, so I skipped a main and desert. I think I chose correctly because I had to wait another 20 minutes for my coffee only to find 3 of the waiters smoking outside after paying my bill. Good food, but at least as a solo diner I won’t risk coming back.

Paid a considerable value for the shrimp pasta and got exactly one shrimp, chopped into tiny pieces and scattered like confetti. Tasty enough, but for the price? A total letdown. I don’t recommend

Encontré este lugar por casualidad mientras deambulaba en Tratesvere en un día soleado. Tuve un almuerzo encantador. La lingüina de langostinos era preciosa. Visitado en familia con nuestra hija adolescente. Hecho para sentirse muy bienvenido. El restaurante parece ser muy popular entre los italianos locales.

08/07/2025: Since Simone arrived on the property, improvements have been noticeable. As a logistics expert, he manages to ensure deadlines are met. It's a shame about the website, but whatever.
21/06/2025: I have been frequenting this beautiful Sicilian place for years, where I find courtesy, professionalism and excellent food, the pastry shop what can I say... sublime! Today I tasted a very fresh shaken coffee, a real treat, made by the barista Mirko always very kind and friendly! If you are in the Prati area you can't miss going to "Catanese" I highly recommend it!

08/06/2025: You eat very well on tables with tablecloths and napkins. A place that you can tell has been there forever. You understand the tired owner but he is a bit out of place… I prefer the swordfish rolls with mint and the cannoli have chocolate chips
27/05/2025: Unmistakably Sicilian, in the cuisine and the setting. We arrived for lunch at an unlikely time but they allowed us to have lunch anyway. Pasta alla Norma was delicious and plentiful, the bill was fair. I would gladly return
