Great atmosphere and absolutely incredible pasta. I have eaten a lot of pasta while in Italy and this was a standout.

Really friendly staff with tourists, honest and pleasant exchange! The pasta is really good but not amazing, it was missing a little something to make it perfect!

Gorgeous place set in the neighbourhood of Trastevere! Pasta was delicious. Portion sizes were of a perfect size so that you can comfortably enjoy a 3 course meal without feeling too full. Staff were also very friendly and allowed me to practice my Italian with them which was much appreciated. Overall definitely try here if you are in this neighbourhood which is known for great food and restaurants.

We stood out like sore thumbs as asians, but the waiter was patient and even offered to help us split our dishes to 2 shared portions without extra costs. Food was great and atmosphere was fancy, but I would have definitely love to come here with a local.

A welcoming and quaint osteria, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The sea bass cooked in salt was truly excellent, as was the wine selection, which paired well with dinner. The appetizer and dessert were average, while the service, while friendly, could be improved in terms of attentiveness and care. Overall, a great experience. 🍷✨💕

The pasta was very good, 10 out of 10. We ordered the linguine with shrimp, rigatoni vaccinara, and paccheri alla norma, all sensational. For dessert, we ordered cannoli. It comes in a pack of three and is great for sharing. The service and attention were excellent. Highly recommended, as well as a great place!

Encontré este lugar por casualidad mientras deambulaba en Tratesvere en un día soleado. Tuve un almuerzo encantador. La lingüina de langostinos era preciosa. Visitado en familia con nuestra hija adolescente. Hecho para sentirse muy bienvenido. El restaurante parece ser muy popular entre los italianos locales.

21/09/2025: I've been back to the restaurant several times, but I have to say that, despite the consistently pleasant location, both inside and out, I've often found the food a bit heavy and the menu consistently the same... But above all, I've found the waiters so unfriendly (except for the polite young waiter who clears away the dishes) that they wouldn't even smile if you paid for an extra on the menu!!! Then I realized: there are the aficionados who are treated with kindness and fuller glasses of wine (I don't understand why they charge the same as a full glass for a half, or maybe less than a half, glass of wine) and the regular customers who are treated with condescension. Now I understand why the other Sicilia in Bocca in Prati is always more crowded... And next time I want a Sicilian dinner, I'll definitely be heading to... the restaurant in Prati.

04/10/2025: I want to start eating again! A riot of flavors and the aroma of... simply fish. Fabulous raw seafood, but also the first and second courses (squid stuffed with caponata), and the desserts...??!! Pistachio parfait, and then... ricotta, pear, and cocoa. The owner is a passionate and very kind guy. A welcome drink of prosecco with potato and octopus meatballs. Highly recommended. Price... well... this one was excellent too.
