Delightful lunch. The ravioli spigola was delicious as was my partner’s fish San Pietro. Good wine selection. Our by the glass, Franciacorta and rosato ✔️. Calm elegant, light room ++ for design. Highly recommend

Gorgeous place set in the neighbourhood of Trastevere! Pasta was delicious. Portion sizes were of a perfect size so that you can comfortably enjoy a 3 course meal without feeling too full. Staff were also very friendly and allowed me to practice my Italian with them which was much appreciated. Overall definitely try here if you are in this neighbourhood which is known for great food and restaurants.

We stood out like sore thumbs as asians, but the waiter was patient and even offered to help us split our dishes to 2 shared portions without extra costs. Food was great and atmosphere was fancy, but I would have definitely love to come here with a local.

Andiamo alla Gensola da anni, noi e i nostri amici, e non siamo stati mai delusi. Ritorneremo questa settimana con altri 4 amici. La sala con le grande vetrate sulla piazza omonima è molto piacevole. Il principale conosce il suo mestiere. Nel corso degli anni, abbiamo assagiato tutti i piatti, e non siamo stati mai delusi. Bella scelta di vini.

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, qualità, cortesia del personale e del simpaticissimo prioritario . Consigliatissimo. Torneremo senz’altro. Bravi!

04/10/2025: I want to start eating again! A riot of flavors and the aroma of... simply fish. Fabulous raw seafood, but also the first and second courses (squid stuffed with caponata), and the desserts...??!! Pistachio parfait, and then... ricotta, pear, and cocoa. The owner is a passionate and very kind guy. A welcome drink of prosecco with potato and octopus meatballs. Highly recommended. Price... well... this one was excellent too.
