We went to eat at this little osteria after the second stage of the Silent Villages Walk. It was a lovely place, the owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was beyond reproach. Everything we tried was homemade, delicious, and incredibly tasty. The pan-fried potatoes were spectacular. If I ever pass through Acqualoreto again, I'll definitely be back. If you have dogs with you, don't worry, they're absolutely welcome! A truly exquisite dinner!

We had dinner last night, a large group of adults and children. We ate excellent food (I loved the guinea fowl), cooked with passion and served with kindness and professionalism. Roberto and Giada were two fantastic hosts. If you're in the area, don't miss it. If you're not, it's worth the trip.

Dinner at the osteria during the second stage of the Cammino dei Borghi Silenti (Silent Villages Walk). Maybe it was our hunger, but I assure you the food was truly delicious, and the tiramisu at the end was almost perfect. Perfect, just like the delightful setting, the service, and the welcome we received. As for the meal, the two of us ordered: water, melon, two first courses, two side dishes, two desserts, coffee, and a liqueur, spending €25 each. A delightful evening that we will remember fondly after the walk. In the meantime, I thank the couple in charge once again, and I recommend everyone book a table. Enjoy your meal and relax! 🍽🛋

After a wonderful day of trekking through the small Umbrian villages, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a meal at this small osteria in the heart of Acqualoreto. It was truly wonderful: an authentic atmosphere, delicious cuisine rooted in local tradition, with a few simple dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that tell the story of the area. The wild boar stew was simply perfect! The staff was extraordinary: welcoming, attentive, and uncommonly kind. Each course was a treat, accompanied by explanations and sincere smiles. Exceptional value for money, with very fair prices for the quality and attention we found. An experience that left us with wonderful memories and we absolutely recommend it!

A heart-warming experience! We were welcomed into a warm atmosphere filled with smiles and aromas that are truly rare these days. The food was authentic, the welcome felt like the embrace of someone who has known you for a long time and longs to see you again, the rustic, clean, and tidy atmosphere, a blend of elegance achieved with the essentials. We sampled the carefully prepared and meticulously described mixed antipasto, the perfectly prepared wild boar stew (without excess grease), and the garden vegetables. The owner delighted us with a taste of the wonderful sausage with grapes... a truly unique dish! We finished with delicious desserts and followed the owner's wine recommendations... which were what made the evening perfect. I highly recommend going for a culinary experience as authentic as we had, made with good things, made with everything you need without excess and with so much authenticity and concern for our satisfaction.

At Trattoria La Cruccola, we were greeted with great hospitality by Giulio and his staff: Roberto in the dining room, Giulio, and his team in the kitchen. The appetizers of homemade cured meats and cheeses were excellent, the wild boar stew was excellent, and the house Sagrantino was also very good at a fair price. Care, passion, and kindness make this place truly special: highly recommended. Even the bill was more than fair. Thanks guys, we'll be spreading the word about you!
