Osteria La Confusa In Modena

Typical Tuscan restaurant with a traditional menu, kind and helpful owner, unfortunately being vegetarian I didn't find many main dishes but above all side dishes, good, perhaps a little too greasy... but valid!

Excellent food (the tripe is fantastic) in a simple and informal atmosphere. Interesting wine selection, good quality ingredients. A pleasant dinner with friends, to be enjoyed at your leisure!

We had a wonderful experience at La Confusa restaurant. The owner entertained us with stories about the village's torchlight tradition, and the pici with Chianina and Cinta Senese were excellent. I recommend it!

We were on vacation in Abbadia San Salvatore and this small but welcoming restaurant caught our eye. Giancarlo, the owner, immediately puts you at ease with his friendliness and helpfulness. The dishes are delicious, made with quality, local ingredients. We ordered a tasting platter with cured meats, cheeses, and Tuscan crostini, handmade tagliatella with Cinta and Chianina beef ragù, a braised pork, and baby onions with balsamic vinegar. The owner's homemade nocino liqueur and ricciolina (a typical dessert from Abbadia San Salvatore) are not to be missed. Recommended for sampling local flavors.

Everything was very good but...the tripe was excellent!!!

Excellent lunch (we had a sampling of crostoni, then pici with aglione and peposo). Very kind owner.

Family and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food.
