We stopped by randomly on the way to Modena and had the best meal that we've had in Italy. Everything tasted home cooked and absolutely delicious. We were there at lunch time and the place was full of mostly construction workers and tradesmen that were probably there daily as the lunch special was very affordable and half portions are available if you're with kids or not starving. Highly recommend!

I've been to Baracchina several times and have always eaten very well. A beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere. Excellent cuisine, excellent service, and very kind staff. A restaurant I recommend trying. Very good.

15/04/2026: A perfect place for celebrations, as the owners offer live music on weekends. The food is very good and plentiful. The pizza is also worth trying. Overall, combining food and celebration is always a winning combination. However, if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, a separate room is available for smaller groups or couples.
08/03/2026: I found it by chance, but I'll never let it go. The food is good, the dishes are just the right amount, the price isn't excessive, and I'm satisfied.

25/05/2026: The 4-star food rating is the average between the 3-star first courses (tagliatelle and porcini mushroom risotto) and the 5-star crescentine (or tigelle, for us, people from the Modena plains) with cheeses and cold cuts. It's a place for business lunches, with an excellent quality-price ratio.

Welcoming owner! 👏♥️ And a unique waitress!!!!😍 Not just beautiful! 🫠😅 Attentive service!🙂 Even with customers like us who were sooooo hungry! ...😋 Tortellini in broth on a bitingly cold, humid day! The perfect combo! 👊 Arugula and parmesan tagliata! As a second course! With tigelle and fried gnocco and chips! And having to share a profiteroles at the end of the meal, I admit!... A huge mistake! 🙈I won't repeat it again! ....😄 The Babayaga restaurant is like a second home to us! 🏠🥰
