This centrally located restaurant serves traditional dishes. We tried veal with tuna sauce, Piedmontese raw ham (incredible!), plin, and veal sirloin steak…all delicious and excellent value! Highly recommended!

A small restaurant in the square, serving typical Piedmontese cuisine.
The waitress served us with kindness and helpfulness, but the rest of the staff barely noticed us. We waited about 20 minutes for even water (Friday evening at 8:30 PM).
The food was good, but the price was a bit steep, but now average (about €30 per person for two appetizers to share, a main course each, and water. One of our friends paid for the wine separately).

A fantastic discovery! Excellent food, a well-designed place that takes me back to the '80s in every way!
Prices are reasonable, with an excellent quality-quantity-price ratio.
About €40 per person, from appetizer to dessert.
Just one thing: it's incredibly hot inside!! The air conditioning definitely needs improvement!

A place I frequent and know, always great.
I went back last night after months, and I have to say it was disappointing to be abandoned after the main course without being asked if we'd like dessert or coffee (which we actually did). The girl, who I'd never seen there before, ignored us the whole time; maybe they were a bit confused. Too bad! I imagine that could happen.

Excellent trattoria, and very “classic”. Food & wine menu are written by hand, always a good sign.
Go with local dishes, ask the waiting staff for a wine pairing, and again, go local. You can’t miss. We explained broadly what we don’t like, and we were recommended a lovely bottle of Nebbiolo, nothing crazy @ €20 but just perfect for our spontaneous meal.
Would definitely help to speak a little Italian just to be respectful, I can’t rate the ease of English translation as we ordered in Italian.
Excellent, and honest.

Unfortunately, I only recently discovered this place.
The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is that of a classic piola
It's about 15 minutes from the center, so it's worth a visit

Beautiful and good, the spirit of the real tavern, with truly good dishes!!
The orecchiette with garlic and anchovies were out of this world, as was the horse diaphragm with out of this world caponata!
Friendly and nice, in the corner of the city that peeks at Santa Giulia.
Recommended!
