A good osteria, with all the right touches: a traditional yet slightly retro atmosphere, friendly service, and traditional cuisine.
The tortelloni with nettle pastry are excellent.

We had dinner at this lovely, characteristic trattoria located in the center of Castel San Pietro Terme. We tried tortellini in broth, tagliatelle with ragù, and a charcuterie board; everything was delicious. The charcuterie was all locally sourced and had the unique flavor of things made with care. The tagliatelle with ragù was delicious, and the tortellini were so well-made—small, with a pastry dough that you could see (San Luca, as our grandmothers used to say) and a perfect filling—that we had to compliment the chef, a kind, helpful, and almost unassuming person. Even the coffee, a weakness of 90% of restaurants, was decidedly good. We highly recommend it.

Had lunch on the way back from Imola...excellent osteria with traditional dishes. Professional service from the host/owner. Very friendly...the kitchen is well done. Well done everyone.

We had a family lunch on the way home from Bologna and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. A quiet place that makes you feel at home.

Only a short walk from the campervan parking, this traditional restaurant has a lovely cosy feel and friendly owners.
We had a joke about being from Scotland and speaking English, but the owner translated the menu when necessary and accepted my poor attempt to speak Italian.
The food was delicious, freshly cooked and very filling. I highly recommend the tortelloni with spec & walnuts, and the chicken with rocket and parmesan!

An old-fashioned tavern where politeness, courtesy, and good food come together and leave you with a smile upon leaving. I'd definitely return. The place is a little dated, but that's okay. It has its own style.

A very trendy, old-fashioned, and very engaging osteria like this one, my partner and I chose. The dishes were simply high quality and plentiful. The prices are moderately low. We have a feeling we'll become loyal patrons.
