A fantastic spot right in the heart of Florence. Delicious, home-style, local cuisine at very affordable prices. The porcini mushroom risotto is perfect! The butter and sage gnudi is also excellent, and the homemade desserts are to die for! Efficient service (Angela is amazing!), ideal for a quick and satisfying lunch and a perfect alternative to grabbing a quick bite on the go… A very popular spot with Florentines themselves, who come here for lunch. And worth noting: an all-female team in both the kitchen and the dining room! A must-try.

Perfect, a small restaurant run by women, everything is perfect: the welcome, the service, the food. As a bonus, the prices are modest and it's just steps from the Dome and David.

Brazilian friends, Osteria Buongustai is a rare gem in Florence, run by women – Angela, Lucia, and Laura. Their energy creates a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with authentic cuisine. Unlike other restaurants geared only towards tourists, here you feel their pride in what they serve. The pasta is excellent, they have daily specials, the kitchen is open so you can watch the preparation, and best of all: the price is excellent. If you're looking for a genuinely Florentine experience and want to support a local business, this is the place. It's worth a visit.

21/03/2026: This place has a really nice atmosphere and a very pleasant ambiance. From the very beginning you are greeted by a great staff, everyone is very nice and hospitable. The food is a clear ten, a special recommendation for the Quattro Formaggi pizza, and be sure to leave room for the tiramisu because it is delicious. A true delight for all the senses, see you again!
