A family-friendly restaurant in the heart of Ferrara's historic center. The food is delicious, good value, and the service is friendly. I love pumpkin cappellacci, and they're truly delicious here. This time, however, I tried the Strabassotti cutlet, and it was excellent!

The restaurant is located just outside the city center. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is friendly, although the wait for meals is long. We waited an hour for an appetizer. The food quality is good, but the prices are 20% higher than average. 750 ml of water costs €2, a cover charge of €2, and first courses range from €10 to €12.

Traveling from Tuscany to Veneto, we stopped at this restaurant on the recommendation of a colleague. The traditional dishes were very good. The owners were friendly and extremely helpful. We'll definitely be back!

A pleasant surprise in Ferrara: excellent traditional cuisine, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service. The pumpkin cappellacci with ragù and trio of boiled meats are highly recommended!

Mai provato prima, scelto quasi per caso. Locale piccolino e accogliente, un pò fuori dal centro, occorre fare quattro passi in più del solito, ma ne vale veramente la pena. Cappelletti asciutti cacio e pepe gustosi, tris di bolliti con salse ottimi, faraona al forno straordinaria. Molto buono anche il vino rosso sfuso, da bottiglia e non alla spina, quindi a temperatura ambiente come avevo chiesto (praticamente impossibile da trovare altrove). Ottimo servizio, affabilità, cucina tradizionale ma raffinata, prezzi inferiori alla media di Ferrara. Rapporto qualità/prezzo imbattibile. Torneremo sicuramente....

Posto accogliente un servizio ottimo come i piatti che abbiamo mangiato , prezzi normalissimi nella norma vista anche la qualità della materia prima. ci ritornerei 👍

28/08/2025: Since arriving in Ferrara 18 years ago, I can confidently say that this is the best restaurant for meat lovers in the city. Excellent quality (generous portions), impeccable (and highly qualified) service, a vast wine cellar, and an extraordinary selection of bitters and liqueurs. Even if I were to try, I couldn't find a flaw. Recommended is an understatement.
25/08/2025: Luckily, I stumbled upon this place! The atmosphere is elegant, informal, and the staff are friendly. Professional and competent. If you're a meat lover, this is the place for you. The first courses are also excellent, creative and delicious. A wide selection of wines and spirits are available at a more than reasonable price.

26/08/2025: Right on the canal. The food is fresh and well worth the price. The service was very attentive and polite.
25/08/2025: I went today 04/25 for the first time for lunch at this restaurant after reading so many positive reviews, I must say that we ate divinely, stupendous ravioli stuffed with cod as well as the fried calamari and "prawns"... really good, the waitresses were nice and kind, the environment was a bit spartan but clean enough to definitely tidy up the bathroom and maybe take care of the outdoor space a bit. Having said that, I highly recommend it!
