Locale molto particolare, come il proprietario con cui è piacevole parlare e che ha dato un'anima al suo lavoro. Menu in base al pescato.

Coming to eat here is an experience that is renewed every time, with the certainty of always finding very interesting dishes and raw materials of absolute excellence, which follow the rhythm of the seasons, both in fish and vegetables. Furthermore, as if that wasn't enough, Costabile, chef, host and companion of your evening is always ready to advise you, and also to create a dedicated dish for you. You would never stop talking to him, from fishing, to the sea, to Cilento, passing through traditions, foods and culture. All in a small place that resembles an art atelier, lovingly cared for down to the smallest detail. As always, we will be back!

The host, art history teacher in winter and factotum of the Osteria Hortus in summer, combines his passion for cooking with the absolute quality of local products and gives us a unique experience, with every course we were impressed literally speechless!! Seafood cuisine, menu made up of a few more different off-menu dishes that vary from day to day based on the catch, minimal but quality wine list, more than honest prices given the quality of the products. We will definitely be back!!

Costabile Guariglia, insegnante di storia dell'arte in inverno e padrone di casa dell'Osteria Hortus d'estate, unisce la sua passione per la cucina con la qualità assoluta dei prodotti locali e ci regala un'esperienza unica, ad ogni portata siamo rimasti letteralmente a bocca aperta!! Cucina di mare, menù composto da pochi piatti più diversi fuori menù che variano di giorno in giorno in base al pescato, carta dei vini minimal ma di qualità, prezzi più che onesti vista la qualità dei prodotti. Torneremo sicuramente!!

From the moment I entered, I noticed the welcoming and familiar atmosphere of the place, a real refuge for lovers of good food. The products offered are of excellent quality. Every bite I tasted demonstrated how much effort and passion goes into the preparation. The sandwich crust was crunchy and fragrant, while the fresh and tasty ingredients enhanced every single dish. I cannot fail to mention the rotisserie specialties too, which deserve an applause: each recipe seems to tell a story of tradition and love for cooking. The owner and his family are the beating heart of this place. Their skill and dedication can be perceived in every detail, from attention to the customer to the care in selecting the ingredients. They are always available and ready to recommend the best combinations, making every customer feel like part of their big family. 27/12/2024: If you're hungry it's heaven, the service is like an tavern with a voice menu. For example, a devil has truly genuine salami, not the "village" one of the inhabitants of Milan.

22/12/2024: On a cold Sunday in December, we were welcomed by the warmth of the staff and the welcoming and characteristic room heated by a fireplace. We enjoyed the good and abundant fish dishes and finally a taste of Cilento figs. I highly recommend it
