This is the third or fourth time we've had lunch at Gizzi restaurant, and everything has always been great. Unfortunately, today, aside from the bruschetta with porcini mushrooms, which is always excellent, the rest of the food was a bit less so. We didn't like the ham in the appetizer, and the owner's recommendation regarding the bread, porcini mushrooms, bean, and chestnut soup in a terrine was terrible; it was practically tasteless, and I'd rate it just above zero.
The gnocchi, for me, weren't potato-based and were hard. The quality of the sliced pork with porcini mushrooms was excellent, but hard to chew.

Indescribable, exceptional, stratospheric!!! A ravioli so good, so good 😋😋 that I can't even begin to describe it. It exploded with flavors in my mouth. Mr. Giuseppe, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. Everything was delicious, even the meat and the dessert. What more could I say? Everything was truly top-notch, we can't wait to go back and try that ravioli. What a spectacle 😍😍 See you soon, Mr. Giuseppe. I can't wait to go back 😍😍

This restaurant is located in a quiet, leafy area in Cusano Mutri. Excellent appetizers, first courses, and side dishes are also available, while the second course could be reviewed. Overall, a good place that, with a few small improvements, could surely become a local favorite.

You can enjoy typical dishes from Cusano Mutri in a quiet setting just a few kilometers between Cusano and Pietraroia. I recommend ordering two first courses on the same plate (it's served with a special plate that separates the two first courses).
