One of the most typical taverns in central Verona. Crowded with tourists—many—and locals—a fair number. The cuisine is traditional: traditional dishes, good quantity and quality. Reservations recommended, especially on weekends. There are two sittings. Prices are in line with those in the city center.

Overall, good, but with a few flaws. We had dinner for two. The gnocchi and carne salada were very good, but the pasta with saffron, zucchini, and speck was much less so; it was definitely lacking in salt. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, but particularly rushed. I understand there are shifts, but eating in 40-50 minutes isn't ideal. Plus, the heating was way too high.

13/01/2026: Comfortable and very warm atmosphere, the fireplace adds that extra touch of warmth, impeccable service, with great attention and courtesy towards the customer, quality products, healthy and light cuisine, highly recommended also for the location on the hills
08/01/2026: Had dinner yesterday in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. From the appetizer to the coffee, a true delight. Fairly priced, I'll definitely be back.
