Osteria Flaminio In Roma

My experience at Osteria Flaminio went well beyond expectations: I had long wanted a dinner with traditional Roman dishes and I really got it. Spectacular first courses, amazing carbonara and amatriciana, the first very creamy, the second tasty and crunchy. Next time I'll aim to try the latter too. The dessert is also excellent, as is the choice of wines. An added value is given by the location close to the center and the ample parking possibilities in the area near the stadium, a few steps from the Osteria.

You can really breathe the air of Roman cuisine with a capital C. Large menu of abundant, tasty and well-presented traditional dishes. We tried carbonara and amatriciana: simply perfect in terms of cooking, seasonings and ingredients. Very nice place, friendly and nice staff, very attentive to all the customer's needs. A strong point (we learned this from the very kind waitress) is also the parking, as customers can park in the parking spaces in the area surrounding the stadium. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes.

One of the best carbonaras I've ever eaten in Rome. Great tasting and crunchy bacon. Really excellent!

After leaving the MAXXI we accidentally stumbled upon the Flaminio tavern. We were welcomed by an affable and discreet gentleman (now obsolete qualities) and made to sit even though we had not booked and despite the room being almost completely full. We ordered typical Roman dishes and others with "inventive" combinations never offered by other restaurateurs. We chose a Ribolla Gialla wine as our wine. We were served and at the first taste we fell madly in love, we lost ourselves in the oblivion of the senses. From the appetizer to the dessert everything was perfect. AMAZING. Since then the affable and discreet gentleman has become a friend: Marco. Since then, every time we come to Rome we cannot help but be sublimated by the skill and creativity of the chef who would deserve to be mentioned in the Michelin guide. Excellent Roman cuisine at a good price

Neighborhood tavern, we arrived at 2.30pm and they welcomed us like friends. Impeccable traditional Roman dishes. We will return to try the other dishes of the house.

El viernes, mi familia y yo tuvimos el placer de cenar en Osteria Flaminia, y fue una experiencia inolvidable. De principio a fin, todo superó nuestras expectativas. Empezamos con su Cacio e Pepe, que fue el mejor que he tenido. El equilibrio de sabores, la textura cremosa y la pasta perfectamente cocida hicieron que cada bocado fuera una delicia. Después de eso, disfrutamos de su Carbonara, una verdadera obra maestra, rica, sabrosa y absolutamente deliciosa. Para terminar con una nota dulce, saboreamos su Tiramisù, que fue nada menos que increíble. Ligero, cremoso y perfectamente equilibrado, era la forma ideal de concluir nuestra comida. El ambiente era acogedor y acogedor, y el servicio era de primera categoría. El personal era atento y amable, lo que aumenta el encanto general de la noche. Osteria Flaminia es una visita obligada para cualquiera que busque disfrutar de la auténtica cocina romana en su máxima expresión. Muy recomendable!
