Osteria Etrusca In Volterra

Beautiful atmosphere and authentic Italian flavors that took me straight to Italy. The service was very warm and professional, and each dish was prepared with great care. I definitely recommend it!

We spontaneously stopped by for a drink. The beautiful view tempted us to have something to eat. Even though only one other table was occupied, the waiter was annoyed that we'd changed our minds. The service was otherwise comparably poor. The food was good, but nothing special. (The pizza, antipasti, and salad are admittedly rather simple.) The various live music evenings, pasta cooking classes, etc. sounded tempting – unfortunately, we left again.

Everything is sensational and delicious, the flavors are amazing, the choice is for everyone and at the highest level, the atmosphere is very nice and the service is great. I highly recommend it!

A wonderful place with excellent cuisine. The view from the terrace, the atmosphere of the place, the peace of the surroundings, the nice service and the lack of crowds are the huge advantages of the restaurant. A place I hope to return to in the future. I recommend it 100%!!!

I was riding my motorbike alone around the wonderful Tuscan countryside and I wanted to try this restaurant after reading some reviews. Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews (few, by the way) of "tourist" cuisine that I found on Osteria Etrusca, unless you are prejudiced because the managers are not Italian (the kind lady at the cashier told me that they are from Poland), they speak a bit of halting Italian and the waiters are foreigners too and don't speak fluent Italian, but you can understand each other without any problems. It's an experience that I would define as special because it actually feels like being abroad and not in the heart of Tuscany, but the cuisine is excellent, the service is very attentive to the needs of the customer and the view is amazing. I had pici with truffles, very good and much better than many others I have eaten, and a wild boar carpaccio with rocket, parmesan and truffle, excellent too. At the next table they had 3 Florentine steaks and I have to say that they seemed cooked to perfection and tasty, given how the (Italian) guests dusted them off. In short, if you are not prejudiced against experiences that are different from the usual and want an experience in a splendid place with well-made cuisine, at reasonable prices, come and enjoy! I will return with my family for sure.

Osteria con una bellissima vista sulle colline toscane . Abbiamo cenato con un tagliere e due secondi , di cui uno fuori menù. Porzioni generose e qualità ottima!
