Dopo una domenica pomeriggio passata al freddo causa sciopero dei mezzi pubblici, di ritorno in Liguria da Alessandria, siamo capitati alla Pizzeria Osteria Due Elfi. Nonostante l'orario (ore 22) siamo stati accolti cordialmente (alla faccia di un altro locale che aveva già chiuso il forno alle 21.45!) e ci sono state servite ottime pizze e ottimi dolci, il tutto a un prezzo ragionevole. Locale carino e ottimo per una serata informale e cordiale.

Pizzeria with excellent value for money, also available for take away (call to avoid queues). Just outside the center with easy parking in the surrounding streets. Informal and quiet environment, courteous staff, fast service. Good and plentiful pizza toppings. Tip: if you like crunchier pizza (like me) ask for 'less' mozzarella (or red) otherwise they put too much and it stays soft in the centre. Overall it's better than many places in the centre.

07/12/2024: Tried it yesterday for lunch with a couple of friends Very clean environment with a family and intimate atmosphere embellished with very nice Christmas decorations Very tasty appetizers, abundant and very good agnolotti Second courses with roasts and seasonal vegetable side dishes Dessert with ice cream at the height Price consistent with the offer We will come back for sure Highly recommended
02/11/2024: Very good food!! However, I found the usual flaw in the service which is not exactly impeccable, far from it, especially in the bill!

19/11/2024: Have you really not gone there yet?? You have to fix it, the place is enchanting, Costa Vescovato is a delightful little village, the place is welcoming, warm and clean, you are welcomed with a smile and you feel at home by the friendliness of the staff, we chose the restaurant menu, we took a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses for three, served with bread and focaccia made by them followed by risotto creamed with Montebore (a typical cheese from these parts, excellent), caramelised pears and sandblasted walnuts, I took chestnut gnocchi with pumpkin cream and raw prawn, for the second course, pork cheek with timorasso, honey and millefeuille of potatoes and cabbage (the meat melted in the mouth) and aubergine meatballs, tomato puree and stracciatella, all accompanied with a pink portion that tied everything together perfectly, sweet conclusion with cheesecake with orange and salted caramel, pears in syrup with star anise and vanilla with white chocolate and cruel almond mousse, but the best was my Catalan cream with chestnuts, I ate it slowly to make it last longer, next time pizza because the ones served at the other tables were very very inviting, a place like this is not recommended but mandatory!!!!! Thanks for the experience
