Osteria Don Maccarone In Napoli

Very good Neapolitan-style food, and a very friendly owner who greets and serves guests personally. I highly recommend it, definitely worth a visit!

Locals told us to come here and try Pasta e patate and Pasta alla genovese... They were so right, both of them were absolutely delicious!!! The portions are good sized and the prices are great! We also tried the Baba Au Rum which was perfect 👌🏻👌🏻

We had the ultimate family style dinner at Don Maccarone! They accommodated our large group, wowed us with delicious dishes, and left us feeling like we had found our new favorite local spot. This dinner was the exact experience we needed to kick off our vacation in Italy. The menu has variety and the chef knew exactly what to recommend to satisfy all the ages and palettes of our party…it was like we had been going there for years. We will be back! I booked for a Saturday night dinner for a reunion with Italian-American relatives who were eager to savor the flavors of true NAPLES cuisine, and we were amazed by the welcome, the dessert and after-dinner coffee, we felt as if we were at home, at our own ease, impeccable service, a traditional Neapolitan menu, but with great care and high quality products. We tasted fried croquettes, mozzarella in carrozza, arancini, seaweed zeppole, etc., mussels with pepper, aubergine parmigiana, buffalo mozzarella, fried pizza, pasta and potatoes with bacon that could have been served to the KING, heavenly Genoese pasta, highly aphrodisiacal fried anchovies and calamari, top Aglianico wine, and finally dulcis in Fondo Babà, and tiramisu, and what are you doing, don't you take down a cello? We will return every time we are in NAPLES.
