Small and historic place overlooking the Adige, a few steps from the centre. Menu with few dishes, but all with character: from the local cold cuts, through the meat stewed in Amarone and the gnocchi, up to the dessert (splendidly washed down with grappa), everything was prepared in a very satisfying way. Friendly and unobtrusive service. Correct account. Advised!

Di ritorno dall’Alto Adige abbiamo pensato di fermarci a Verona per mangiare. Per caso siamo passati davanti a questa antica Osteria. Aperta la porta ti avvolge subito una sensazione “di casa”, una ragazza gentilissima e sorridente ci ha accolto e preparato un tavolo che si era appena liberato. Il locale è piccolo, semplice e accogliente. Due primi e bolliti come secondo. Questo era il menù di oggi. Molto buoni i bolliti con la pearà e la salsa verde. Con le Zanzarelle in brodo (fantastiche!) ho ritrovato sapori e risvegliato ricordi. Grazie Marisella da Perugia

I ate in this tavern 2 evenings and I must say I ate well (phenomenal braised meat). The only comment I can make is that the bill was a little too high

A pochi minuti dal meraviglioso centro storico di Verona abbiamo scoperto questa piccola e deliziosa osteria di grande atmosfera. Bella la saletta di ingresso con le travi (appena un po' fredda), gentile il servizio della signora al tavolo. Il menù prevede la scelta tra due primi e un paio di secondi. Abbiamo assaggiato delle incredibili zanzarelle, una minestra antica che ricorda la stracciatella romana e che è stata perfetta per la fredda giornata. Buono il bollito con la salsa peara e la salsa verde. Buona la bollicina con cui abbiamo accompagnato il pranzo. Prezzo correttissimo. Siamo stati felicissimi di avere scoperto questo luogo così speciale.

Food was great and the location was really cozy. Unfortunately the owner and the menu was just in Italian. I really liked the brief menu which is totally understandable as the quality of the food was great. Also it was nice to sit somewhere whithout any other tourists.

Osteria that takes you back to the past. Small but very welcoming with excellent food and excellent service. Little choice on the menu but everything is excellent and makes you want to come back
