One of the best pastas I've had in Italy. Pasta carbonara and with salmon and cream, amazing.

We ordered tagliatelle with salmon and cream and spaghetti carbonara, and they were spectacular. A great choice. The service was excellent.

Food is okay, but unclear charges and misleading menus. The food itself—bruschetta and pasta—was generally fine. However, what really bothers me is the blatant attempt to gouge tourists with hidden charges and misleading information. I am aware that Venice is a challenging place to run a restaurant due to logistical costs and the commitment to maintaining this unique city. I am absolutely willing to pay a premium for that extra effort and the city's preservation—but that cost must be transparent. Here are the issues we encountered: 1. Hidden Charges & Exorbitant Prices (Lack of Transparency): • The restaurant charges a "Coperto" (cover/table charge) of €2.50 per person, which was not listed on the menu. For this charge, we received only four small slices of bread and two grissini sticks. This is an excessive amount for virtually no service. • The price for drinks is a complete rip-off. A beer (0.4L) was charged 7.00 € , which was also not clearly indicated on the table menu. 2. Misleading Menus: • The menu presented at the table did not match the specials advertised on the menu board outside the restaurant entrance. 3. Confusing Setup (Deliberate or not?): • Be aware that this restaurant is located immediately next to another place which appears to be cheaper. It is easy to confuse the two, and they seem to share the same owner, which feels deliberately designed to mislead patrons into the more expensive venue. In summary: The practice of hiding the Coperto and high drink prices from the main menu is unacceptable. It’s clear this establishment focuses on taking advantage of tourists instead of providing fair value for the necessary premium in Venice. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Am Campo St. Margarita, einem der belebtesten und pulsierendsten Plätzen in Venedig, liegt diese besonders gute Osteria. Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr gute Küche, von Fisch bis Pizza, ist hier alles sehr gut! Wir kommen regelmäßig sehr gerne hier her 👍🏻

Comí un almuerzo aquí cuatro veces durante mi reciente visita a Venecia. Con cada una de las comidas, comencé con la bruschetta. Es un plato tan simple, pero delicioso. Comeba pasta con algún tipo de marisco todos los días. Me encanta su casa - hecho ñoquis. Ya me cansé de las vieiras antes, este año era cangrejo. También tenía pappardelle casero hecho con camarones y hongos; paccheri con cangrejo y tomates; y tortelloni relleno de lubina y tomates. Porque comí tarde (normalmente alrededor de las 3 o 3 : 3 ) , era fácil conseguir una mesa. Creo que hay asientos interiores, pero siempre he comido fuera. Campo Santa Margherita es una de mis plazas favoritas en Venecia. Tenía el mismo camarero todos los días. Al tercer día, sabía que pediría un spritz Cynar, la bruschetta y una botella de agua tranquila. Él y el resto del personal era muy amable. Espero estar en Venecia de nuevo en el otoño, y aquí es donde voy a comer la mayoría de mis comidas
