Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, excellent dishes made with local ingredients. A wide selection of wines. We had a great time.

We booked for three people for Boiled Meat Wednesday. Two people had the tasting menu and one person had the boiled meat dish. After the appetizer and main course, the person who had only the boiled meat dish was served, and 40 minutes later, the other two boiled meat dishes were served. Personal opinion: the portions were rather small and didn't match the menu. Pickles weren't served, and horseradish was bland. The appetizer, salsa verde, and dessert were excellent, however. The paired wines didn't really match the dishes. The glass of Refosco was described as "soft," and when we asked for another glass of stronger Refosco, we were told that only the bottle was available. The bill concluded: the two tasting menus were sold at 45 euros each instead of 40. We refunded 10 euros. I'm disappointed because I've always eaten and drank well there. I hope it was just an isolated incident.

Il posto è incantevole e verissimo, sembra proprio di stare in Friuli. Il menù è tutto di tradizione a parte qualche piccola cosa, ma anch'essa interpretate in modo tradizionale. Lista dei vini agevole e di territorio e ci mancherebbe. In sostanza una figata fiabesca, che diventa più vera se ci entri e tasti. Come quasi tutto in Friuli. Come quasi tutto il Friuli. Mandi. Per essere un giovedì a pranzo locale con molte presenze a testimonianza della nomea. Abbiamo mangiato bene, anche se a onor del vero un primo non era sufficientemente caldo come avrebbe dovuto essere. Servizio buono anche se inizialmente abbiamo dovuta aspettare e richiamare la attenzione per ordinare. Luogo caratteristico con un bel "Fogolar" con il fuoco acceso. M@ndi.
