Everything was excellent, generous portions for quality and price, you can feel the care in choosing the local product and the service was very courteous and fast (despite there being many seats, we assume a communion). We come from far away, but we will definitely be back ❤️

Both the location and the food were excellent, we were all very satisfied.
The exceptional staff: the lady who took the orders was very professional and accurate in her explanations, the blonde lady was fantastic, friendly and kind!

We went for lunch yesterday May 1st.
FABULOUS place, VERY VERY WELCOMING, ESPECIALLY THE EMPLOYEES.... VERY NICE AND THEY PAMPERED US IN EVERYTHING, SAVING US AND RECOMMENDING EXCELLENT DISHES AND ESPECIALLY THE LOCAL WINES.
...THE ONLY FLAIGHT WAS FINDING A TABLE NEARBY, VERY RUDE AND PRESUMPTENT TOWARDS THE POOR STAFF WHO PUT EVERYTHING TO MAKE THE CUSTOMERS FEEL AT COMFORT...DESPITE A HOLIDAY LIKE YESTERDAY.
EXCELLENT FOOD AND EXCELLENT WINES.
WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN.

The place was recommended to me and I would certainly recommend it for the appetizers and the spectacular location.
I liked the menu overall, especially the asparagus pie.
What unfortunately I didn't appreciate was the service (and I'm not the only one who noticed it!), especially due to the coldness we received both when ordering at the table and in other subsequent moments. We also had some very helpful and kind young waitresses but the atmosphere was not always the best so for this aspect alone I would not recommend it.

Typical rustic style restaurant, we had lunch outside under a pergola, wonderful and enchanting place, very friendly staff and fair wait, good and well prepared dishes, good wine with a choice of local and non-local labels, good desserts (even a local gubana soaked in grappa!), very satisfied, fair and average price, I would say booking essential, I would gladly go back even immediately. Compliment to the staff.

Il posto è incantevole e verissimo, sembra proprio di stare in Friuli. Il menù è tutto di tradizione a parte qualche piccola cosa, ma anch'essa interpretate in modo tradizionale. Lista dei vini agevole e di territorio e ci mancherebbe. In sostanza una figata fiabesca, che diventa più vera se ci entri e tasti. Come quasi tutto in Friuli. Come quasi tutto il Friuli. Mandi. W i cjarsons di Villafredda.

Per essere un giovedì a pranzo locale con molte presenze a testimonianza della nomea.
Abbiamo mangiato bene, anche se a onor del vero un primo non era sufficientemente caldo come avrebbe dovuto essere.
Servizio buono anche se inizialmente abbiamo dovuta aspettare e richiamare la attenzione per ordinare.
Luogo caratteristico con un bel "Fogolar" con il fuoco acceso.
