Osteria di Mezzo In Salò

Yesterday, my family and I were in Salò for a Sunday stroll, given the nice weather and the fact that we hadn't been there in a while. After a detailed Google search over the past few days, my mother found this place that inspired her. We made a reservation for three at 1 pm. It's located inside Salò, with a few steps to climb (a bit inconvenient for strollers and prams). The place is small but very well-kept with a very classy atmosphere. Just a few tables ensure a quiet place. The menu offers a diverse selection of both quality and quantity. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom is very clean and smells great. Perhaps because it was Sunday lunchtime and it was busy, or perhaps because the dishes aren't the quickest to prepare, or because they're made to order, we had a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. We were full and chose not to order coffee, but they did give us a little gift of their homemade cookies (a much-appreciated gesture). The price was consistent with the quantity and quality of the food, and with the location and beautiful village. Very satisfied, we will definitely be back.

Excellent and attentive service, a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and location. Homemade bread and pasta. Some dishes are truly excellent, others are so-so. Very high prices.

Small but perfectly formed, tucked away in a side street, the couple who run it are the perfect hosts. Authentic cuisine, lovingly prepared. It's well worth a visit. Please make a reservation, as it books up quickly.

A very beautiful and well-kept place, the owner and staff were very kind. We had an appetizer of cheeses and cured meats, paccheri stuffed with cheese and basil sauce, reginette pasta with duck sauce, and to finish, a tiramisu and a salted caramel and chopped peanut parfait. I forgot, at the beginning they offered us pumpkin soup with croutons. Everything was truly excellent, thank you for everything.

We went to this Osteria because a colleague recommended it...and I must say, it was excellent! It's easily accessible, nestled in one of Salò's quaint alleys. The atmosphere is very welcoming and discreet, and the staff is kind and courteous. But...let's get to the dishes we ordered: tagliolini with sardines for the first course, and a fish fillet skewer for the second course. Two glasses of Lugana bianco...coffee and sweets on the house. Oh, and I almost forgot, the entrée was a truly exquisite vegetable soup. What can I say...truly sublime!

A small restaurant whose welcoming atmosphere is immediately striking, tastefully and elegantly furnished, unpretentious yet refined in every detail. The service was simply delightful, with the owner and waiter eager to describe each dish and never sparing a joke. Excellent food, made with quality ingredients. Highly recommended selection of cured meats and cheeses. Flavorful stuffed paccheri with a mouth-watering tomato sauce. Reginette with duck ragù was approved by a local, who declared it to be a recipe unlike any other, and this time it had passed the test with flying colors. Homemade desserts rounded out the meal perfectly. The fair price was the icing on the cake of this experience. Highly recommended for a visit to the beautiful village of Salò.
