I had the opportunity to dine there yesterday: my two guests and I were very satisfied with both the service (extremely professional, with a great approach to welcoming and advising customers) and the quality of the dishes. Kudos to you for your attention to detail: it makes a significant difference in a society where this attention is lacking.

5 stars because we ate well, especially the cutlet, and above all in a non-touristy place but we spent a lot on the cover charge

We first visited this place in 2022 when we were in Salò for our summer holidays. And we really liked it, so we decided to come back again when we returned for our holiday this year. We were glad we did! Food is excellent! Especially the selected local cheeses are *chef’s kiss* and the tagliata di manzo, and ribeye are excellent. The pasta carbonara and the duck ragout are also very very good. Dont forget to get the tiramisu at the end thats so good and gives a little dramatic effect. There is no outside terrace but honestly we didn’t mind. You can have dinner on terraces on over Salò and not eat as well as here. We ended up coming twice during our Salò stay. So thank you so much for 2 amazing dinners and we look forward on coming again!

By far the best restaurant in Italy, located in a small alleyway in Salò, small but nice. Wonderful decor from the tablecloths to the sideboard, a lovely ambience. It has its own charm, it's family-run, the lady of the house is in the kitchen and the man is there with the guests. If you love good food, you've come to the right place. The taste was superb, from the antipasti to the dessert, it was first class. What we particularly liked was the regionality, all the products are from the surrounding area, from the wine to the meat, fish, lemons, etc. The prices are appropriate for the products, the craftsmanship, the quality and the ambience. For anyone who doesn't want tourists and loves honest food, then this is the place for you. We would like to thank you for the great food and if we are in the area again, you will be our first address.

We were lucky enough to find this place after reading reviews. We were also lucky enough to get a walk in table. The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. Don't hesitate to try this place out! Book a table!

A small restaurant tucked away from the promenade. Very cozy. The food was excellent. We had the bread carbonara and pasta with duck ragù. For dessert, we had peach tarte tartin with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A dream. Topped off by great service. 11/10 ❤️

Die Osteria di Mezzo liegt in einer ruhigen Gasse im Zentrum von Salò – nicht direkt am Wasser, aber atmosphärisch und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Lokal wirkt persönlich und überwiegend familiengeführt, das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich, engagiert und aufmerksam. Die Küche ist qualitativ hervorragend. Alles, was wir gegessen haben, war handwerklich sehr gut gemacht und schön präsentiert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ausgeprägte Getränkekultur: Weine werden in sorgfältig ausgewählten, jeweils passenden Gläsern serviert – auch das Bier kommt stilvoll auf den Tisch. Sehr angenehm und ungewöhnlich konsequent. Ein kleiner Punkt, der die Professionalität des Hauses eher bestätigt als schmälert: Eine Tagliata war zunächst etwas zu durch, wurde aber umgehend, freundlich und selbstverständlich ersetzt – inklusive mehrfacher Entschuldigung. So geht man vorbildlich mit Feedback um. Am Ende des Abends gab es beim Bezahlen sogar noch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit: ein hübsch verpacktes Tütchen mit feinem Gebäck. Eine schöne Geste – aufmerksam, herzlich und keineswegs selbstverständlich. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen für das, was geboten wird – sowohl kulinarisch als auch im Service. Wichtig: Eine Reservierung im Voraus ist unbedingt zu empfehlen – das Lokal ist sehr gefragt. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Wer Qualität, Atmosphäre und ehrliche Gastfreundschaft sucht, ist hier genau richtig.
