Osteria di Chichibio In Polignano a mare

Located in a clifftop square in a small coastal town, the seafood was all excellent. The service and atmosphere were also excellent. It's worth a quick stop if you're heading to Lecce or Bari, or a dinner spot during a seaside holiday.

Osteria di Chichibio is the best restaurant in Polignano. I went in different restaurants including Grotta Palaze who is famous in this city but I end up coming twice in this place. The food is just another level. Come to eat first and thank me later! It’s a must guys 🥂

Everything was really perfect. But most of all, the service. They really go above and beyond for their customer it was so heartwarming. I went there for my girlfriend birthday and everything they did for her was truly marvelous... Roses, everything, it was such a memorable moment ! They even brought us a chocolate cake that was not on the menu, it was so good, one of the best I've eaten. Also food was incredible so tasty, so well balanced. Everything was perfect, a thousand thanks again!!

I expected more from this place. My husband loved the pasta he ordered. My caccio pepe was good too. The service from the waiters wasn't great; in fact, they forgot to bring us a plate (we didn't ask for it, nor did they charge for it). The attention of the two girls who greeted us (I think they were the owners) was good.

Massimo and Vittoria will lead you, not just to just any restaurant, but to the sensual vortex of an experience you'll never forget. Aromas, flavors, smells, colors, and atmospheres that describe SUBLIME dishes, where the sea becomes flat, meaning calm for the taste buds, calm for the mind, and rest for the body. Don't miss this opportunity to breathe in love and the sea in the same place.

So there's a lot to say... first of all, the food was excellent... fresh and delicious... But the wait was so long, the dish was so good, but... I would have thrown away 200 grams more of spaghetti for all the people we were, a wait of almost 2 hours to eat a forkful... thank goodness I made bruschetta with oil 😅... ditto, the second course was delicious, but 2 more potatoes, at least 4.5 potatoes per plate, damn it... I had 2 potatoes, my husband 1... while my husband had 8 olives, I had 1... I understand it's a high-end restaurant, but don't get lost in so little, the bill was also quite high... so 2 more potatoes and 2 forkfuls of pasta weren't bad.

Excellent dinner with fresh, delicious dishes. The octopus was very tender with a delicious mashed potato. I highly recommend the spaghetti with sea urchins.

Excellent dinner, attentive and professional staff, fair price. If you want to eat good seafood in Polignano, this is the perfect place in my opinion.

Das Personal ist zwar freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber die Speisen sind viel zu überteuert. Man hat das Gefühl, es gibt mehr Kellner und anderes Personal als Gäste.

Che dire… mi trovavo a Polignano per una visita di piacere, locale consigliatomi da un ragazzo del luogo titolare di una birreria . Abbiamo trovato posto fuori ( perfetto e godibilissimo) quasi per fortuna poiché il locale è evidentemente rinomato, il titolare che ci ha seguito dimostra cordialità e competenza, si capisce che “ respira ristorazione” , materia prima eccezionale , crudo ricercato e vivo , splendida carpaccio fatto sul pescato e cantina che fa venire voglia di impegnarsi un rene..magari sui primi ( abbiamo preso uno spaghettone aglio e olio con crudo di gambero), assolutamente ben preparati potrebbero azzardare nella poposta, ma mi rendo conto che può essere una mia opinione soggettiva, comunque consigliatissimo, certo non è esattamente economico, ma dove mangio bene diventa marginale se adeguato all’esperienza.
