An excellence of the sea and culinary creativity My experience at the Osteria di Chichibio restaurant was an authentic homage to seafood cuisine, characterized by quality raw materials and a mastery that was able to transform each dish into a work of art. I started the journey with a fresh and delicate Pezzogna tartare, which literally melted in your mouth. The balance of seasonings was perfect, enhancing the purity of the fish without drowning out its natural flavour. Followed by a tuna crust that amazed me with its crunchy external consistency, in harmonious contrast with the soft and succulent interior. Immediately afterwards, the seared octopus with carrot and ginger cream and rice chips represented a truly original combination of flavors and textures: the very tender octopus harmonized perfectly with the sweetness of the cream and the spicy touch of the ginger, while the chips added a irresistible crunchy note. As a first course, I chose the tubes with redfish. The pasta, cooked al dente, went perfectly with the rich and enveloping sauce, an authentic expression of the flavors of the Mediterranean. The journey ended with two desserts that deserve a special mention: an almond crumble with an apple heart, fragrant and sweetly enveloping, and a passion fruit tart with white chocolate mousse. The latter was a small masterpiece of balance, with the acidity of the passion fruit contrasting sublimely with the velvety sweetness of the mousse. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff always ready to respond to requests with professionalism and a smile. The atmosphere, elegant and with attention to detail, completed an evening that I will hardly forget. Overall rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for seafood cuisine of the highest level.

If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, Chichibo is the perfect choice. From the impeccable service to the delicious, well-crafted dishes, everything about this place is top-notch. You really can’t go wrong here. I started with the seafood parmigiana, a unique and delightful dish that was a first for me. It was flavorful and beautifully prepared—a fantastic way to begin the meal. For my main course, I had the tagliolini with prawns, porcini mushrooms, and zucchini. It was absolutely fabulous, with perfectly balanced flavors and a wonderful texture. This is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. Be sure to make a reservation!

A great time, delicious dishes. Extremely fresh fish and sea urchins. An essential address in Polignano for lovers of seafood. Monsieur at Osteria Chichibio and Madame at Cru restaurant in the old town. Top quality too.

We ordered the Zuppa di Frutti di Mare (fish soup), grilled catch of the day, cavatelli with seafood and broad bean pureee, and an insalata mista. The fish soup was delicious, the pasta was decent, but the grilled fish was slightly undercooked in parts.

Ficamos curiosos para conhecer esse restaurante que fica perto de onde estamos hospedados. Fomos lá no intuito de tomar um aperol e beliscar alguma coisa. Pedimos o aperol, ostra, sim, no singular e lula crua. A ostra, que segundo a minha esposa na estava nada espetacular custou 7€ e a lula totalmente insossa. O restante do cardápio, me pareceu interessante, mas como não experimentamos…..
