The Orologio has the largest and most exclusive selection of wines by the glass. CRAZINESS!
The service was good, but since there were a lot of local regulars there at the time, we sometimes had to wait a bit.
The food was very tasty and prepared. You can tell that people love food here.

A very pleasant evening spent in this tavern with my family, it is immediately clear that this is not a tourist spot. Nice atmosphere, perfect service, the waiter who looked after us was very friendly and professional. Excellent quality. Gardesana pike very good, as was the very tender beef rib. If you are in Salò stop by here.

We got the tip from one of the business owners a few doors down: that’s where Salo’s workers go for lunch! The small Osteria dell Orologio is a long-established, cozy wine bar with very good cuisine. You can come up with something new with changing dishes from antipasti to very tasty pasta dishes to fish and meat secondi. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and beautiful wines / Franciacorti make a short lunch a small experience.

la prima sensazione che si prova entrando in questo locale, è di calda accoglienza, sia per gli arredi, che per i sorrisi del personale.
padronanza di tecnica in cucina e in sala. ampia la carta dei vini con qualche punta di eccellenza.
alto anche il livello delle materie prime.
un ottimo posto, ma con una nota dolentissima: irraggiungibile in auto.

È la terza volta che vengo con mia moglie, anche questa volta siamo rimasti soddisfatti. La proposta varia anche in base alla stagionalità, le accortezze dello chef sono sempre molto pragmatiche nel senso che punta alla semplicità, la tradizione con qualche variazione che rende il tutto molto goloso e piacevole. Ricordo con grande piacere le lumache bardate al lardo con la polenta arrostita… ecc ecc
