Nice place, very friendly staff, a little expensive in my opinion. €37 for a bottle of natural water, a grilled sea bass with cooked vegetables (spinach and cauliflower).

I had a very pleasant family lunch. The restaurant made everything even more beautiful and successful with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff and the excellent food. The raw materials then, a true excellence.

È la terza volta che vengo con mia moglie, anche questa volta siamo rimasti soddisfatti. La proposta varia anche in base alla stagionalità, le accortezze dello chef sono sempre molto pragmatiche nel senso che punta alla semplicità, la tradizione con qualche variazione che rende il tutto molto goloso e piacevole. Ricordo con grande piacere le lumache bardate al lardo con la polenta arrostita… ecc ecc

A superb lunch. Delicious pasta and beans and delicious stewed cod with polenta. Wide choice of wines which unfortunately we could not take because we were about to travel. Worth returning to Salò also for this wonderful tavern.

Nice and welcoming place, both for an aperitif and for a dinner/lunch. There are three rooms, my favorite is the first where there is a nice counter and four tables. Both the owners and the waiters are very kind, welcoming, competent, reserved. The cuisine is excellent, it varies according to the season, these days for example there are artichokes which are exceptional, and there are continuous dishes such as the fassona tartare, excellent. The pike with polenta is a must try. The choice of wines is wide and of high quality. What makes this place special is the mix of its character, how you are welcomed and served, the location, original and welcoming, and the guarantee of food and wine quality. In short, if you are at the lake, I recommend it, be on the safe side.

Pranzo veloce prima di lasciare Saló. Sicuramente la qualità del cibo si sente, e infatti consiglio sia i piatti del giorno che il menù alla carta. Molto buona la tartare di fassona. La cameriera è stata molto frettolosa, quando è arrivata a prendere l’ordinazione non ero ancora riuscita a leggere tutti i vini ed alla fine ho scelto un vino del posto. Non mi è molto piaciuto come si è rivolta (per questo le 4 stelle su 5), ma potrà essere stato lo stress… Però confermo cibo molto buono! Abbiamo speso circa 30/40€ a testa e in totale abbiamo preso 1 antipasto, 1 primo, 1 contorno acqua e caffè.
