Very quiet place to put the guest at ease. Family run, good choice of wines. Dishes with seasonal ingredients, carefully prepared and tasty. Loyal customers, but foreigners are also welcome. Desserts...must try!

My family and I had lunch here today. It’s a small osteria in a beautiful old building. The dishes with local ingredients are delicious and the wine list is Impressive. Particularly recommened are the antipasti platter with raw ham and warm ricotta, the pennoni with almonds, saffron and pecorino and the grilled veal. Hope to come back some day!

In the small town of San Salvo in abruzzo, you can find the osteria delle spezie. A small locale. The kitchen produces the most delicious food. Anti pasti with home cured hams and cheese. An amazing cappuccino of mushrooms. Diverse pasta dishes all calling on the special foods of the region
Mains simple but delicious.
And a most gentle and accomodating host and the family.

By the way. The wine list is a poster board for for the fine wine of the local region. We had a pecorino. Delicious.

Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorante e siamo felici di aver ritrovato la cucina eccellente che ricordavamo. Maialino al miele assolutamente da provare! Complimenti e alla prossima!
