The Casonsei from Brescia made with grandmother Caterina's method are simply wonderful, superb in their simplicity. The sirloin in courgette and mint cream is also delicious and very popular. A special thanks to Federico who was able to advise on the best pairing of food with the right bubbles, a fresh and perfect Franciacorta from the area based on pure Pinot Noir. I will go back without a shadow of a doubt

Place I would return to every day, if it weren't for the distance. How to describe this splendid tavern? A historic, welcoming, elegant place, where you can find incredible dishes. Part of the slow food chefs' alliance, it represents a great example of valorising local products, with particular attention to seasonality. Prices are normal, honestly the quality/price ratio is really high. Unforgettable when, in May 2023, while I was scrolling through the menu, I was asked by the chef if I wanted to try the gnocchi with freshly harvested nettles (which I was able to admire in their freshness from the basket in which she had placed them after the harvest). The "old" approach, which brings value, contact, dialogue and discovery to the table. Whenever I can I come back here. Congratulations for your work.

Friendly and efficient staff... like being with family... excellent wine list, correct menu, finally not an encyclopedia... local food with a minimum of innovation, just how I like it. It's the second time I've been there and when I'm in Franciacorta I go there... thanks

Well organized Easter lunch, both for the quality of the dishes presented and for the timing. Owners always available, qualified dining room staff. The bill was also excellent.

A place discovered by chance, but exceeding expectations: Excellent Easter lunch, nothing cheap.... everything freshly prepared, done well, traditional and quality cuisine. Siamo stati a cena in questo locale. Personale molto gentile, piatti ben cucinati, porzioni adeguate, prezzo in linea con quanto offerto. Lo spiedo si scioglie in bocca, spettacolare! Molto buoni anche i dolci.
