Undoubtedly excellent dishes, it certainly deserved to win 4 restaurants as it was better than the winning osteria which I won't name even though it was also of an excellent standard. I gave 4 stars to the service not because of the staff who are really very kind but because of the owner who keeps to himself without conveying a minimum of sympathy. Smiling helps make the day less burdensome as well as making customers more willing to return to your restaurant.

Thank you very much for a tasty, honest dinner, and at the right price, Italian food is not surprising, it must adjust to a reality, precisely meeting that reality is so difficult nowadays, this osteria achieves it. The friendliness of the staff is commendable, the details and the way of treating the guest are very good.

Definitely a nice place, so-so food, the tortellini good, the risotto with pumpkin not well mixed, the green tagliatelle with guinea fowl ragù good, the purees mediocre!
Good quality meat but overcooked!

Excellent dinner in a super typical and characteristic place. Classic Bolognese tavern of the past but with a hint of refinement.
The dishes we ordered were all superb (the lasagna and the petroniana were excellent).
The service was impeccable throughout the dinner. The only negative note: at the end of the evening, after a considerable bill (but all in all consistent with what we ordered), we would have liked to have received a bitter offered by the house. A small gesture that would have made the evening perfect.

Everything was perfect, except that on a bill of almost €200 including appetizers, first courses, second courses, desserts and two bottles of wine, not even a bitter was offered and the request to divide the bill by 4 made people turn up their noses.

Historic venue in the center of Bologna, certainly known outside of Bologna for its participation in 4 restaurants in 2018, offers traditional but also innovative cuisine, for a fair price in relation to the excellent quality of the dishes offered.
