I'd never been here before, and I have to say I loved everything. Risotto al fondo bruno, tartare al taglio, and panna cotta. Top notch! Excellent! Definitely recommended.

A unique restaurant with two dining levels, the lower level features a room filled with bottles of wine. The upper level is dedicated to the gastronomic pleasures of traditional Piedmontese cuisine, carefully crafted and served, and delicious. Try the panna cotta, which is truly delicious.

How nostalgic! How we'd love to return from Milan to this lovely restaurant in Cuneo! Every time it's a testament to how carefully everything on the menu is prepared.
A few days ago we ate some amazing fried mushrooms, and—a first for me—instead of ordering the panna cotta, which I can't find any words for, I tried the bunet; I'm still wondering which is better.
Next time I'll have both.

I'll begin my review of this restaurant, located in the historic center of Cuneo, with the stunning first-floor dining room, adorned with a perfectly preserved 18th-century coffered ceiling that immediately transports diners to a bygone era.
The spacious, airy dining room features well-spaced tables that allow for a peaceful lunch, and the staff is attentive and helpful.
Now let's move on to the cuisine: in addition to the classic dishes that have been a staple for over thirty years,
such as battuta al taglio, tajarin, vitello tonnato, and panna cotta, lately, new and innovative dishes have been offered, prepared to reduce the calories while maintaining the flavors, thanks to chef Cristian and his young staff.
And now let's move on to today's lunch: a very pleasant surprise were the fried porcini mushrooms (not on the menu) and the zucchini flowers, almost impossible to find these days at the end of August!
The amuse-bouche while waiting for the dishes to arrive is always appreciated.
Today we chose: delicate and fragrant basil flan with tomato sauce; crispy fried zucchini flowers; perfectly fried mushrooms; refreshing eggplant and zucchini risotto; peaches with chocolate and amaretti; berry puff pastry; panna cotta and bonet; all washed down with two bottles of excellent "Servo Suo" Prosecco Valdobbiadene, chosen from the impressive wine selection.
What can I say except that, when we go out for lunch, La Chiocciola has been our favorite restaurant since it opened?
