Osteria del Zep In Morbegno

We weren't sure where to go in Morbegno, so we opted for this osteria because it was one of the few to offer a vegetarian dish (spectacular porcini mushrooms with delicious buckwheat polenta). We also ordered a fillet steak on a bed of porcini mushrooms, cooked perfectly rare, using top-quality ingredients. The tenderness of the meat paired with the delicacy and quality of the porcini mushrooms made this dish the best tagliata my partner has ever eaten. The experience was enhanced by the warmth and kindness of the staff and owners, who made us feel at home.

A friend and I happened upon Osteria del Zep by chance to celebrate my birthday, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Even though it was already 2:40 PM, we were greeted with such kindness and warmth that we immediately felt at home. Special thanks to Letizia, who served us with kindness and friendliness, never letting us know the time. We sampled excellent pizzoccheri, accompanied by traditional cheeses, and finished with panna cotta, water, a bitter, and a coffee. Everything was delicious and authentic. The bill? €48 for two, absolutely fair for the quality of the food and the welcome we received. A place I recommend to everyone: authentic, hospitable, and capable of allowing you to experience the true Valtellina tradition.

Folklore and good food.... But I have a few complaints about the service (the waitress was smoking all night). Partially recommended.

Excellent food and location in a beautiful little square in Morbegno

Super well located, the owner speaks French and his neighbor across the street who runs the wine bar helps out and translates the English....Italian, family and happy atmosphere. Bravo and thank you Zep!

Very special place, good food and very friendly waiters.

Cena in famiglia molto gradevole. Piatti buonissimi ed anche i dolci. Le porzioni erano della giusta grandezza, ma purtroppo valutato 4 stelle perché c'era troppi elementi nelle sale, alcuni graditi altri forse di troppo. Prezzo coerente con quello preso. Cena consigliata.

Personale gentilissimo. Avevamo due cani grandi e ci hanno trovato subito un posto che non disturbasse gli altri clienti. La ragazza che ci ha serviti è stata super cordiale e professionale. Il cibo è molto buono e tradizionale. Sicuramente un posto da consigliare e dove tornare
