Excellent experience, impeccable service, pleasant atmosphere, excellent food, good value. I recommend it and will return when the weather gets colder.

Great place for Lombardic cuisine near Centro. We especially enjoyed the risotto and the Galletto Ripieno.

I went for lunch today. The carbonara was delicious, creamy, and flavorful, just as it should be (but isn't)! The torta della nonna was delicious and artisanal, just as it should be! The place was very nice, and the service was quick and friendly. All for a very reasonable price! Definitely worth a try, even if you're not in the area!

A place with home-cooked food. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is very pleasant, although it can be a little slow if there are a lot of people. We ordered two dishes and a bottle of wine and paid €40.

The food was delicious! It's a popular restaurant, and I went there during lunch time, but it was very crowded. Even though they were busy, the staff were polite and I was able to dine in a comfortable atmosphere.

A very nice restaurant close to centrale main train station of milan. Centrally located it is quite easy to reach with public transport but not so far away from center. They specialise on Milanese cuisine with risotto ossobuco and several other meat dishes bit also have choices for fish and vegetarians. The service quality of food and taste all very good. Definitely a recommended place to go.

Il massimo del punteggio, che non concediamo quasi mai, va inteso non come perfezione assoluta ma come piena soddisfazione per una singola cena. La prima, peraltro: in passato avevamo provato al Treno solo la formula pranzo. Fatta salva la premessa, la media qualità dei piatti provati era eccellente. Li elenchiamo: vitello tonnato, sottaceti, risotto con midollo (top, straordinaria morbidezza assicurata anche grazie a una furba mantecatura burro e parmigiano), brasato (il relativamente meno entusiasmante), taccole (sapore d'infanzia), torta paesana (la torta di pane ma con il cacao). La bottiglia di barbera vivace, non stratosferica, ha consentito di contenere il conto nei 40 euro a testa, onestissimi.

Pranzo di oggi, domenica 9 febbraio, utilizzando un buono-regalo per 4 portate a testa. Sì inizia con l'antipasto, io lumache cucinate con spinaci e acciughe, molto gustose, mio marito tagliere slow food che comprendeva 3 tipi di salumi e del Vezzena, ottimi. Come primo un ravioli al formaggio d alpeggio e uno spaghettone al ragù di coda, senza contare un assaggio di tagliolini ai missoltini, piatto anch'esso riuscitissimo. Come secondo per mio marito un tris di cotechino con purè e due mostarde, che ben si accompagnavano, per me la cassoeula, che ho chiesto di impacchettare per l asporto non volendo rinunciare al dolce, ma dall aspetto assai promettente, quindi il dessert, un semifreddo ai tre cioccolato e una sbrisolona accompagnata da zabaione e da un bicchiere di passito, un vero spettacolo sia per la vista che per il palato. Una menzione merita anche il pane, con in sapore di una volta. Personale giovane e sollecito, un pranzo molto ben riuscito!!!
