L'Osteria del treno, come si evince dal nome, è un ex dopolavoro ferroviario a poche centinaia di metri dalla Stazione Centrale di Milano.
La saletta interna, dove abbiamo mangiato, ha un finestrone quasi completamente oscurato da cui non filtra la luce, quindi pur essendo ancora giorno si mangia con la luce artificiale.
Da un lato ci sono i muri scrostati e le pareti che avrebbero bisogno una sistemata, dall'altro un menù non da osteria, ma da ristorante gourmet, che un pò stride con l'ambiente che ti circonda.
Inoltre i prezzi non sono da osteria e le porzioni potrebbero essere un tantino più abbondanti.

Gambero Rosso is a recommended restaurant and the best restaurant near Central Station. Entry may be difficult if you do not make a reservation. We take advantage of the natural taste of the ingredients and present harmonious and constantly different menus. I was only going to eat the pasta, but it was so delicious that I ended up eating the full course. The dessert was also really good. Osteria is like this,,, this is Italy!!! It's a shame it's not open for lunch, but I intend to visit again^^

The Osteria del Treno, as can be seen from the name, is a former railway club just a few hundred meters from Milan Central Station.
The internal room, where we ate, has an almost completely darkened window from which no light filters, so even though it is still daytime we eat with artificial light.
On one side there are peeling walls and walls that could use some tidying up, on the other a menu that is not that of an inn, but that of a gourmet restaurant, which is a bit at odds with the environment that surrounds you.
Furthermore, the prices are not tavern-style and the portions could be a little more generous.

Oh my god it was amazing! Do yourself a favor and eat here. I had the risotto with bone marrow and it was mind blowing! The pana cotta was the perfect texture and the fruit was so sweet. They insisted we try the special ice cream and try to guess the flavor, I won't spoil the surprise but it was delicious! We only had one night in Milan and they made it so special. Thank you so much to everyone there!!!

We came here as a family on our last night in Milan, and it was an amazing experience. This was the best food we had in the city by far and our server was also really great. We tried a bunch of courses and not one was less than wonderful. Make a reservation because the tables fill up quickly!

Seconda visita sempre in occasione di un giro per musei. Conferma della prima volta. Tutto ottimo: antipasto Milanese, pappardelle al ragù di pecora bergamasca, tagliolini ai misultini del lago di Como, manzo all’olio con purè di patate, rosticiada. Bottiglia di Barbera. Evvai.
