A wonderful surprise!! A restaurant serving traditional Lombard cuisine, located in Borgo Ticino. The service is young and friendly. We ate and drank "like in the old days..." as my father-in-law, a true Pavese, used to say. The dishes were generous and had authentic flavors, and the bill was incredibly fair... I definitely recommend it.

We had lunch with the lunch menu option, which allows you to have a first course, second course, coffee, and 1/4 cup of wine for just 15 euros. I must say the portions are quite generous. The waiters were super friendly, courteous, and funny.

Tavern with honest prices. Friendly atmosphere, reasonable portions. I had a house appetizer. I liked everything except the nervetti, seasoned with too much garlic and too much onion. For the second course I had the cutlet in carpione with figs: too much onion and too much vinegar; the flavor of the meat was gone, covered by the vinegar. Good service.

Appena si entra non si ha una grande impressione ma è tutto ottimo. Il menu fisso a 40 euro vale veramente la pena di essere provato.

É molto tempo che non scrivo una recensione, ma questo locale dove siamo stati ieri sera per cena dopo aver letto molteplici recensioni positive, si merita tutte le stelle. Personale accogliente, piatti abbondanti e quello che non sia o riusciti a finire ce lo hanno dato da portare a casa. Non aspettatevi impiattamenti da ristoranti stellati ma la qualitá prezzo è ottima. Vi torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo.

09/05/2025: He loved how local it was because it serves dishes and represents cultures that are now unobtainable. You can't find certain dishes elsewhere and here they are created to their full potential. Impeccable service, excellent local wine list, price consistent with the service offered.
