The restaurant is in the city, externally rather anonymous, inside it is very simple and welcoming, the staff is energetic, friendly, quick and engaging, the food is very varied, homemade and in quantities to feed an army, prepared very well, personally I would have preferred the appetizers slightly warmed, but these too were very much appreciated by everyone. Good wine and in quantity We were a group of 12 motorcyclists from northern Italy, Very very adequate price, will definitely be taken into consideration for next time Perfect tavern

We ate on Sunday for lunch, welcoming place, friendly and very efficient waiters, excellent food, you can feel it being homemade. I also love warm environments! Highly recommended!

Appena fuori dal centro storico, comodo da raggiungere. Accoglienti all'entrata, affabili e disponibili. I piatti che che abbiamo richiesto hanno soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. Buoni e gustosi. Hanno verificato più volte al tavolo le nostre esigenze, senza dovere essere noi a chiamare. il locale è pulito e ben riscaldato. I prezzi più che soddisfacenti e giustificati dall'abbondanza. Esperienza che ripeterò se dovessi ritornare a Pavia.

Giorgio, the owner, welcomes you with a smile and the competence of someone who does their job with passion. A round of applause also to the dining room staff. Absolutely worth trying.

Prato Gaio is a jewel hidden in the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, a restaurant that combines tradition and creativity in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine is a tribute to the authentic flavors of the area, with dishes that tell the story and the passion for local gastronomy. Each course is taken care of down to the smallest detail, from starters to desserts, with the highest quality ingredients and a perfect balance of flavours. The wine list is full of local excellences, carefully selected to best accompany each dish. I recommend the Bonarda - Vigna del Povromme! The service is impeccable: the staff is professional, attentive and ready to advise with competence. The atmosphere of the place, elegant but without excess, makes the experience even more pleasant.
