My point of reference in Pavia when I find myself staying for work. I really appreciated the risotto tasting that they offered me because it was already finished when I ordered it but they brought it to me anyway to apologize for the inconvenience. I ate some excellent baked veal and drank some good house wine. I will return

An impromptu family dinner. A pleasant discovery: superlative appetizer with top nerves. Applause for Fiorentina who looked like a tuna. Very generous portions and low prices. To be repeated soon

Osteria Dal Povero Lele ..remains in via dei Mille in Pavia ...in this tavern the most striking thing is the excellent welcome ..and the courtesy on the part of the managers, this place is truly delicious ..here we are very close to the famous Covered Bridge, the place itself is really beautiful and very characteristic ..as regards the food here you see very generous portions arriving at the table, and all too delicious including of course good wine , water and fresh bread of the day...the quality/price ratio is very good, ranging from 20 to 40 euros, of course the cost must be expressed by what you order.

Appena fuori dal centro storico, comodo da raggiungere. Accoglienti all'entrata, affabili e disponibili. I piatti che che abbiamo richiesto hanno soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. Buoni e gustosi. Hanno verificato più volte al tavolo le nostre esigenze, senza dovere essere noi a chiamare. il locale è pulito e ben riscaldato. I prezzi più che soddisfacenti e giustificati dall'abbondanza. Esperienza che ripeterò se dovessi ritornare a Pavia.

30/04/2025: On the way to Genoa we didn't feel like car grills and paninis and ended up here as it wasn't far from the motorway - what luck!!! We followed the boss's recommendation - octopus on potato - basil - mashed - very delicious! But the kicker - sea bass in an unusual combination with mussels, potatoes and porcini mushrooms - delicious!!! And the price-performance ratio is more than good! The short detour is worth it!
