Osteria del povero Lele In Pavia

My review is based on the weekly fixed menu, which consists of a first course, a second course with a side dish, water, wine, and coffee. You can choose from 3-4 options per course. The dishes are tasty and plentiful, the cuisine is "heavy"... the à la carte menu offers many options, mostly based on local traditions. The place is very basic, the service is fast, and the price is cheap. I'll return.

Excellent food, friendly and professional staff, fast service, and a traditional yet sophisticated trattoria atmosphere, with unique furnishings and paintings. The quantity and quality of the food were truly remarkable (we couldn't finish it all). I'll be back every time I'm in Pavia!

Prima volta dal Povero Lele, ma sicuramente non sarà l'ultima. Ottima accoglienza, anche i miei due jack russel sono stati accolti alla grande e ci hanno subito portato una ciotola d'acqua per loro senza neanche bisogno di chiederla. Portate abbondanti e veramente gustose, senz'altro da provare le fettuccine fatte in casa (che poi sono tagliolini) col tartufo grattato sopra, veramente deliziose! E che dire dell'orecchia di elefante, veramente enorme (vale due porzioni abbondanti...) e cotta alla perfezione. E a fine cena non può certo mancare il tiramisu fatto in casa, una roba veramente libidinosa. Molto buono anche il vino rosso della casa, scende che è una bellezza. E infine il prezzo, che è veramente modesto per qualità del servizio e del cibo. Veramente consigliato +++
