The raw fish appetizer, as pictured, was skimpy but fresh. The fried fish portion was generous, but decent in composition and preparation, nothing special.

Setting: Outdoor tables, completely unsuitable for a sunny but very breezy, cold day with a rough sea.
Everything was flying, from napkins to trays to disposable cutlery.

To sum it up in one word: impeccable. Despite it being very crowded, the orders were prepared quickly and with just the right timing between appetizers and main courses. The food is excellent and has an irresistible aroma (I only managed to take a photo after the dishes were finished). I wasn't familiar with the place, and I was accompanied by a trusted friend. It's a fishing cooperative that cooks divine dishes with fresh fish and the aroma of the sea. The prices are fair; there's no point wandering around Bari, go straight to Torre a Mare.

I haven't been to the restaurant in a while, but the few times I have, I've had a great impression. However, in recent months, I've been to the fishmonger's shop adjacent to the osteria and belonging to it several times. Tonight, I arrived just after 8:30 PM (the fishmonger's opening hours are the same as the restaurant), and was greeted by two very kind non-EU employees. Pleasant experience. Excellent value. Excellent selection of traditional dishes. Service was basic, but nothing to complain about. Service was prompt despite the place being crowded, even for a midweek dinner in September. It's a shame, as I'm a vegetarian, that I couldn't enjoy the only non-fish dish (I was told it's only available on Sundays).

The osteria of my heart! I always recommend it to everyone: it's more than a restaurant, it's a state of mind. All the dishes are delicious and the atmosphere is magical, just steps from the port. You can truly breathe the essence of Bari and Puglia. If there were more than 5 stars, I'd give them all!

The food is fine, though a bit pricey. The non-alcoholic beer was warm. We got ice cubes with it. The pizza chef makes delicious pizzas. The serving process isn't smooth. The food is ready, but the waitstaff doesn't see it. The atmosphere outside is nice, but the atmosphere inside is fluorescent.

It's been a while since I've been here, at least ten years. Everything has remained the same. The food quality is excellent, considering it's a self-service restaurant, which is better than a restaurant for me. The place is basic; you have to grab a table and wait in line, then order at the cashier, where you'll be given a receipt and a number that will be called via megaphone when everything is ready. The only downside is that shouting names into a megaphone is really annoying, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. Prices are fair, great value, and I recommend it 💯 🔝
