Without infamy and without praise

I don't understand the negative reviews here at all. The menu, the quality, the service, and the ambiance have been excellent for years. We were there the last few days - despite the restaurant being completely full both inside and out, we got everything very quickly, the food was great, and despite the large number of guests and the heat, everyone was friendly! For me, the best restaurant in Porlezza! Thank you :-)

Nice view to the lake and mountain.. very good pizza very good pasta very friendly waiters., and when it is hot you always have fresh wind from the lake

Please don't make the lasagna too greasy. Pizza is good.

Ordered two pizzas to go. We were told we were not allowed to sit and wait for the pizzas to be done, so we had to stand for 30 minutes. Little weird when we are also paying customers. Pizza was alright, a little hard, but at least had plenty of topping.

We ate very well, the waiters were very kind and the service was excellent. We will be back with great pleasure

I went to Osteria del Porto with 7 friends and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and rare kindness: the staff was attentive, helpful and truly warm, making us feel at home right away. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming, well-kept but not excessive, perfect for an evening with friends dedicated to good food and relaxation. The menu is a delight for those who love seafood. I chose mussels alla marinara, very fresh and tasty, served with a sauce so good that it was impossible not to mop it up. To follow, a saffron risotto with calamari that left me speechless: creamy, balanced, with a refined aroma and taste. Each dish was a discovery, and all my friends were enthusiastic about their choices. Another plus point? The very honest prices, especially considering the excellent quality of the raw materials and the impeccable service. I recommend Osteria del Porto to anyone who wants to enjoy a memorable meal, in a pleasant environment and with a heart-warming welcome. We will definitely be back!

Ci siamo stati il 21.04.2025 per pranzo (Pasquetta), per un pranzo in famiglia (7 persone) Locale di fronte al lago a Porlezza, ben tenuto e con tanti posti, sia interni che esterni. Consigliato riservare. Personale accogliente, gentile e sorridente. Bravo ad Angelo e a tutto il suo staff per la simpatia. Appena arrivati ci fanno accomodare al nostro tavolo. Abbiamo ordinato diversi piatti, tagliere di salumi, spaghetti alle vongole, fritto misto di mare, tris di spiedini di pesce, risotto ai calamari. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosè, molto buono e fresco che ben si abbinava a tutti i piatti. Tutti i piatti buoni, materie prime di ottimo livello, ben cotte e buona presentazione. Abbiamo poi preso caffè e dessert, frutti di bosco e gelato (buono). Servizio buono, attesa un pò lunga tra i piatti, ma suppongo sia dovuto al fatto che il locale fosse molto affollato per la festività. Prezzo totale 312 Euro, che per quanto proposto lo trovo corretto. Ci torneremo di sicuro, magari in una giornata meno affollata. Consigliato.

Siamo stati a cena un paio di volte in questo ristorante e devo dire che il cibo è veramente buono e il proprietario super accogliente, unica cosa che secondo me dovrebbe curare un po’ è il servizio, i camerieri non sono molto attenti e devi sempre chiamarli perché si dimenticano le cose da portarti o non passano spesso dal tuo tavolo. Ma comunque è un bel posto
