Food was delicious, you needed a bit of patience to order, the waitress didn't speak any German or English... the location is perfect!

Osteria del Porto is a hidden gem. Angelo, the host, is incredibly welcoming. The food is fantastic, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes.

Recommended by our hotel staff we went to Osteria del Porto in Portolezza. Easy parking two minute walk from the restaurant. Very pleasantly welcomed by the owner. Aside from the menu, a daily menu was presented on a small blackboard. We had Artichoke salad Gnocchi Pesto which was very tasty Real spaghetti carbonara with ofcourse guancale. Best we’ve had on the Lugano lake area. Bruschetta, just good. Then Grilled fish, Entrecote, perfectly grilled and cut Pizza, heart shaped. All just cooked to our taste. Here they know how to grill a good steak! Medium-rare was perfect. Homemade tiramisu to end the night. Thank you staff! We had a great evening.
