Osteria del Podesta In Bevagna

We went with a group of friends on December 31st for lunch. The tavern run by Salvatore and his wife Loredana with their children. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was taken care of in detail and very good. A starter with a delicate flavour, a first course of tagliatelle with wild boar ragout, a second course with grilled cockerel with potatoes and finally a chocolate and cream profiterol that melted in your mouth. I recommend it, we will definitely be back.

Stop for lunch on the tour of Umbria... pleasant family-run tavern, what can I say... Everything 10 and praise!!! If one day we will be here again....obligatory stop!!! Super recommended!!!!

Family atmosphere and excellent food! We just had lunch in this little restaurant in the heart of Bevagna and we can only say that it is an experience worth repeating! Excellent food and superlative Sicilian cannoli, not to mention the extremely friendly service. See you soon!

premetto che metto tre stelle perchè adoro frequentare anche ristoranti stellati quindi in una mia classifica devo essere onesto nel metro di giudizio! come osteria merita un 5 pieno! il personale di sala cordiale disponibile servizio veloce e preciso, davvero una nota positiva. locale accogliente ben tenuto tavoli ben distanti e comodi, servizio velocissimo. antipasti squisita ottima selezione salumi e formaggi e degno di nota sia la trippa che i fagioli (tra i secondi). molto buoni i primi piatti, soprattutto i ravioloni con la salsiccia. conto onesto e in linea. da tornare!

It inspired us for the menu, we ate land, potato and mushroom pie on cheese fondue, excellent! Then tortelli, we were satisfied... the only flaw... the desserts, industrial!! Alas, ah, make a dessert made by you!

Really typical and welcoming place. We were not particularly impressed with the food and found it to be very rich in seasoning. We didn't find any side vegetables available as we arrived a little later (around 2.30pm)... in the end the lady still brought us an accompanying vegetable but let's say that it left us a bit perplexed

Siamo stati qui ieri a pranzo, devo dire che la scelta è stata buona, sia per la gentilezza dello staff, che per la location e anche per il cibo. Io ho preso una buonissima carne era un burro, con una porzione di patate che non erano il top ma buone, e una verdura ripassata leggermente salata ma buona! Abbiamo preso una bottiglia di sagrantino spettacolare! Le comande sono state gestite devo dire velocemente visto che eravamo 12, e c'era altra gente prima di noi! Il locale accogliente e caldo visto che faceva freddo! Il prezzo medio alto 40 a testa, ma avendo mangiato bene e visto che c'erano anche dolci vari e acqua, e alcuni caffè rientrava nel range! Insomma una buona scelta sicuramente. Buon pranzo o cena a voi popolo di TripAdvisor. Si consiglia di prenotare visto il numero ridotto di tavoli.

We went to this restaurant for lunch, in the heart of Bevagna. We had a wild boar appetizer with salami and wild boar mortadella, accompanied by small pizzas made with water and flour, and it was all delicious. We had 2 first courses and a second course: priest's hats and fettuccine with artichokes, good, even if, subjectively, I expected more from the fettuccine. The second was the grilled cockerel, very good. Overall we ate well and had a great time: exceptional service with very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it to anyone visiting Bevagna. Honest prices.
