A beautiful wine bar and osteria along Via Risorgimento in Zola Predosa, on the banks of the Lavino River. The two-story restaurant is meticulously maintained, original, and unique, featuring memorabilia, signs, and posters from throughout the last century. The cuisine is excellent, based primarily on Emilian traditions, but not exclusively. The wine list is impressive: a pleasant selection from the Bolognese hills, along with equally interesting offerings from across Italy and beyond. Unfortunately, we've only been coming here for a little over a year, and on each occasion we've had the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes, from signature dishes to off-menu offerings, always with a focus on seasonality. The selection of grappas and digestifs is also excellent. A special mention, however, goes to the young man who manages the dining room service with warmth, attentiveness, and, above all, a certain spontaneous attention to detail that only veteran maîtres can provide. He's repeatedly managed to patch up both the inevitable small management and kitchen errors (which happen to even the best), as well as the absurd requests of rude customers. Working in the same industry, we can only hope the owners realize how fortunate they are to have young resources like him and the chef, a rare and precious commodity these days. Favorite dishes? Above all: striccapugni with egg and pancetta, taglierine with prosciutto crudo, gramigna with sausage ragù, cotoletta alla Petroniana, and ricotta mousse. It's also worth mentioning the off-menu dishes with mushrooms and truffles. For example, today's taglierine with galletti didn't make me miss my favorites, the ones with prosciutto crudo (in rosso, meaning with a little tomato paste). Well done, keep up the good work.

Well they didn't have the broth for the tortelli I ordered!
But the waiter was so kind and smiling in the way he was sorry that I let it go and move on 😉 but next time I warn you that I'll come 😜

To break up the journey we stopped here by chance. Never was a chance more fortunate. The staff was so young and very well prepared! From the kitchen to the dining room! We ate very well! From the appetizers to the first courses to the desserts. The place was really beautiful and tastefully decorated.
I will definitely come back as soon as I am in the area again!

A place discovered almost by chance… I can only say… BRAVI!!! The place is beautiful, very vintage… the service? 10 and praise (they are 21 years old, both the person who served us and the person who prepared the dishes…) the wine cellar… embarrassingly stocked (we took a Barbaresco Riserva… embarrassing!!!! If you pass by here… Mattia will pamper you!!!

Ambiente sempre gradevole, con tanti richiami al passato come nota positiva. Ritornato dopo anni ho però trovato un leggero scadimento dell'offerta: porzioni abbastanza ridotte nel rapporto col prezzo, soprattutto negli antipasti. Petroniana abbastanza "secca" , si poteva far di meglio. Al momento dei dolci la sorpresa che la crema di mascarpone era finita, con ovvia delusione degli ospiti stranieri. Vino discreto nel km zero, un po' "passato" (bianco del 2019 ) in quello proposto da fuori regione.
